Chapter #6Reader's choice by: Elrick After class, they all went down back to their home. But unbeknown to them, the amulet had followed one of them, sneaking into their bag waiting for the right moment. That person was Christine Watson, the famous professor. She was already back in her appartment, when she found out she had brought back the relic with her. By that time, it was getting dark outside and people were getting ready to either sleep, study, or party. As for Christine, she was planning on prepping her next class. But now that she had the amulet with her, something was compelling her to examine it instead. To look at his silvery glow and wonder; what could it contain?
Like in a trance, she put it on around her neck and looked at herself in the mirror. It looked pretty on her, she though. She tried to open it, but it was lock. Usually, she wouldn’t mess with such an old relic, but she wanted to know what was inside. Something had awoken inside the pendant, and she had to see what was inside! She starts with trying to pry it with her nail, but it didn’t work. Then she switches to a pair of scissors. Then a pair of plyers. Finally, it broke open. But before Christine had the chance to see anything, a cloud of black smoke flew out of the amulet and right into her mouth. In a moment of panic, she tried to stop it, but it flew right through her finger, into her mouth and right down her throat. Immediately, she was struck with the worst migraine of her life, both her hands clenched around her head. The spirit of the witch Cassandra was seeping inside, merging with Christine’s own mind; Her memory became the witch’s memory, the witch’s desires became her own desires. All her beliefs and ideals were swept away and replaced. Soon enough, her limbs went limp. Then her head rose as her lips stretched into a grin. She was no longer Christine Watson, but Cassandra Black; the witch and the teacher were now one and the same.
With a wicked smile, the new witch turn to the mirror to admire her own reflection.
-Cassandra Black: Yes…this body could use some improvement, but it will do for now. In any case, I’ll need more energy to do anything with it. And I know just where to find it… indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
