When teddy held up the diaper she was saw it had the name Amy in big cutesy bubble letters. Her first thought was “Huh, the family who stayed here last must have had a baby with the same name as my mo-“ but before the thought could fully cross her mind it was completely wiped away by another one. An idea that made far less logical sense but she was completely convinced it was true. This diaper belonged to her mom, and Teddy needed to return it to her.
So she left the nursery at a brisk pace and eventually found her mother and the other girls in the cabins living room. Charlie was playing with some toys on the rug and Skylar and Ivy sat on the couch half in a trance staring at the toys. And Amy was just getting up to leave the room when Teddy approached her and stopped her. “Hey Mom, I found your diaper”
“My wha-“ Amy gave her daughter a confused expression before a switch flipped in her like it had for her daughter. “Thank you sweetie, I don’t know how I could have lost track of it”
