Chi-Chi felt her hubby had earned his dinner, so she let him start chowing down on the fish as she took a seat in the living room to prop her sweaty feet up. "Ahhh~..." She sighed blissfully as her feet were propped up on the arm of the couch. This was the life...a husband who appreciated you, a son who was obedient and in his room studying, and herself in complete authority.
She closed her eyes, flexed her big toes idly and enjoyed the nice cool air of her living room. She didn't know when she'd drifted off asleep, but when she awoke the sun was beginning to set. Her house was unusually silent, her feet draped over the couch arm now stunk even more so due to the dried sweat mixing with the new.
The kitchen lights were still on, she swung her feet onto the floor, her thick soles making a wet smack on it. She stood up and stretched, it was a nice nap to be sure...but she hated being in the dark about what her and her son were doing.
She left behind sweaty footprints as she stepped into the kitchen, she flicked the light on and saw the note on the fridge. It was Gohan's handwriting:
Dear Mom, I finished all my studies for this evening. Dad is taking me to train some! I'll be back in a few hours hopefully! Love you! - Gohan
Chi-Chi smiled, admiring her son's politeness and his handwriting. "At least he left a note...hm?" Chi-Chi's attention was drawn to a group of tiny men wearing masks and carrying large sacks over their shoulders.
These men were very clearly here to steal stuff...something Chi-Chi was NOT having!
