Anne opened up her beside draw and pulled out her socks. "I wonder if you can now give me her feet?" she asked as she handed them to you. You didn't say anything as you slid on Anne's socks. This time not much changed, your nails were painted and a couple of toes were a slightly different shape.
"Cool," Anne said wriggling her new toes. "It's not much of a difference but I can still feel it." She sat down and massaged her new feet. "So when you said the swap becomes permanent after 4 hours, does that mean if I keep my sister's feet for that long we won't be able to change back or does that 4 hour rule apply to your parts?" Anne asked.
"I don't know..." you confessed.
"Or let's say Hannah kept your feet for four hours, does that mean you can't get your feet back or your no longer able to swap feet in general?"
"Again, I don't know."
"These are probably things you ought to test before using a power like this, though if you ask me it sounds more like a curse, though as you said you almost hit the guy, maybe the power was a thank you and a punishment."
"I get that you want to test this but isn't that dangerous, we could end up with other people's parts just to test a few minor things."
"So we start small, mine and Hannah's feet are almost identical, so let me keep them on for four hours, you can swap back to yours. If you can't swap with me after that, then we know and part that stays on a person for more than four hours is stuck on that person. If we do swap, then we know it only applies to you having parts for more than four hours."
"And testing the other stuff, like if I can still swap a body part just not back to mine or not?" you hesitated.
"We'll leave that a mystery unless you get stuck with someone else's part by mistake," Anne promised as she stood up again, as you put back on your socks, giving Hannah, Anne's feet. "But while we wait these four hours, let's have some more fun."
