While there were plenty of exciting options available to you, you decide to play it a little safe, seeing as this was your first time actually swapping and you were already on the verge of getting thrown out of the store. Swapping with the women you'd been following could be a little troublesome depending on what you chose, seeing as they were all in a group together, and more likely to notice something was off. Swapping with the employee could have complications due to them being at work here, and wearing the store's uniform. Swapping with an animate object, while an exciting prospect, could potentially be dangerous if you swapped with something you shouldn't, and you didn't even know if it would work.
Ultimately, that left one option for you; the lone woman at the other end of the store. She probably wouldn't have been your first choice under other circumstances, but you supposed there was nothing stopping you from swapping away anything you swapped with her later on. You point across the store at the woman, hoping nothing else would get in the way. The remote responds, making three holographic screens appear in front of you, one with a picture of you, one with a picture of the woman, and one with a list of traits that you could swap between the two of you. A wide smile forms on your face. You were actually doing this. This was actually going to work. You were actually going to use this sci-fi device to swap something with this random woman. Now it was just a matter of deciding what to swap.
Considering you were currently in trouble with the store employee, the simplest option would be to simply become someone else. Swapping lives with the woman would let you do that, assuming it worked the way you thought it would. Presumably everyone would see you as the woman, and her as you, so she would be the one getting thrown out for following a group of women into a clothing store, and you'd be free to stay here and do as you wish. Of course, you knew nothing about this woman, which would make living her life a little difficult. You'd described her as looking like a mum, but you didn't actually know if she had a husband or kids. You didn't even know where she lived. If the remote didn't help you out in that regard, giving you the right knowledge and memories to live the life you'd swapped into, you'd be a little lost as to what you were supposed to do.
Of course, there were other ways to go about this. You were in trouble because you'd wandered into a women's clothing store with seemingly no other reason to be here beyond peeping at the women here. By that logic, if you had another reason to be here, such as buying clothes for yourself, you could use that as an excuse. Swapping clothes with the woman would accomplish that pretty easily. If you did that, then despite being a boy, you'd have a clear reason to be here. The only problem was that the woman wasn't wearing particularly feminine clothing; a plain t-shirt and a pair of mum jeans. Assuming they'd be adjusted to fit your body, you weren't even sure they'd be recognisable as women's clothes at a first glance, making it a bit of a gamble as to whether the employee would buy your excuse.
That said, there was another way to get a new outfit. Within the list of options, you spot the "Head" option. Would that give you the woman's head and have you keep your body, or would you keep your head and have it placed on the woman's body? If it was the latter, that would actually be rather beneficial to you. Not only would you get the woman's clothes, but they'd keep their feminine shape her body had stretched them into. You'd have a body that not only wore feminine clothes, but also had the right figure to actually fit the clothes the store was selling, and just in case the employee still took issue with a boy being in the store, you'd be all the way at the other side of the store, far away from her. Unfortunately, there was still an issue with this option; again, you had no idea who this woman was. You had no idea where she lived, and if you swapped heads instead of lives, you likely wouldn't keep any sort of identification of her's that would allow you to find her again. While you weren't too fussed about losing your clothes, if you swapped heads with her and she left the store before you, you'd likely never get your original body back unless you happened to randomly run into her again. Was that really a risk you were willing to take on your first swap?
As you continue to weigh up your options, you spot another that catches your interest; "Gender". How would that one work? Would it turn you into a female version of yourself? Or perhaps it would make everyone see you as a woman despite still having a male body? Either way, that could be a decent option to get the employee to leave you alone. After all, if you swapped that, you wouldn't be a boy in the store anymore. Even if you kept your old body and clothes, you could claim that you were just normally a tomboy, and were trying to find a dress for a special event or something. Surely she'd buy that over the idea that a teenage girl might be peeping on this group of women. You did wonder what that would mean for the woman, though. Would she leave, deciding that as a man she had no reason to be here? Would the employee go over and question here, asking why she'd walked so far into the store?
