Blind Date

Cody's sister, Allison, was really starting to regret inviting Cody to move into her place with her. Sure, they were siblings, and she usually liked having Cody around, but his incessant whining was starting to get on her nerves.

"It's like I'm not good enough for any girl! I do everything right and she ghosts me!" Cody whined as the siblings sat in front of the TV, watching a rerun of a police procedural.

"It's like he can't go one day without whining about his dating issues!" Allison thought to herself.

"I hate to point it out, but if this keeps happening... it ain't them, buddy." Allison said. "Maybe you should do some inner-reflection. Try to put yourself in the girl's shoes to see what you did wrong."

"Inner-reflection? No way! I'm perfect!" Cody exclaimed. "It's the girls that are the problem."

"Maybe..." Allison remarked, the wheels already turning in her head.

The next day, Allison walked into the kitchen to see Cody eating a bowl of cereal.

"Cody, I was thinking last night, maybe I was too harsh about your dating issues." Allison said.

"Is that so?" Cody asked.

"Yeah, and it made me realize that most of the girls you date are girls that know you already. Maybe you should try a blind date." Allison said. "And I want to help you do everything right, it's one of my friends, so I know exactly what they like."

"You'll help me?" Cody asked, unsure. "And who's the friend?"

"It's my friend, Peyton. Trust me, super cute, just put your date into my hands. I'll tell you how to dress, how to act, and that way we'll know who the problem is." Allison said. "Have I ever steered you wrong?"

Cody thought for a moment.

"I guess not." Cody said. "What do I need to do?"

"I think we'll start with changing your..." Allison started.
