In one battle, Dimitri lost what little he had left. He wanted nothing more than to cut off the head of the woman responsible. It meant tearing through an active battlefield between the Leicester Alliance and the Adrestian Empire.
He wouldn’t be given the opportunity to mourn his fallen as he found himself on his knees and at the end of Edelgard’s axe.
“Do you yield?” Edelgard asked, pressing her axe under his chin and forcing the exiled prince to look her in the eyes.
Dimitri growled. "I will never rest until I have your head at the end of my lance."
"As I thought," said Edelgard. She raised her free hand and made a beckoning motion. "Hubert, if you will."
"My pleasure, Lady Edelgard," Hubert responded, his hands glowing with strange dark energy. He cast it right on the fallen prince.
The prince let out a pained groan as the aura wrapped around his body. It felt as if flames licked his skin, hungrily savoring every inch. He tried to stand, only to fall back to his knees.
"Finish me off yourself, you coward."
Edelgard only smirked. "I'm not going to kill you just yet, Dimitri."
Dimitri's body went numb. However, that was he least of his issues as whatever spell Hubert put on him began to warp his perspective. It was almost as if Edsel hard was growing.
Smug laughter roared high above him and was followed by thundering booms as Edelgard's stepped closer. The tips of her boots were uncomfortably close, the her heels already dwarfing him.
Dimitri was rendered absolutely powerless as Edelgard’s gloved fingers pinched him and lifted hin skyward. He was met with the entirety of her face taking up his vision. He struggled against her grip but ultimately found it useless.
Everything went black as Dimitri passed out.
——
Dimitri stirred as he woke up. His mind went to his last memories, finding the events too surreal to think true.
“Ah, you’re awake,” called an all too familiar voice.
The prince shot up, ready to strangle Edelgard to death if he had to. He scanned his surroundings, prepared to fight. However, once his vision cleared, he was met with the same giant Edelgard from before.
“You…” he grumbled, balling his hands into fists. “You took everything from me.”
He began to rush her, only to walk into the uncaring wall of her palm, knocking him onto his back. She pinned him down with her thumb, absolutely relishing in the power she held over what was once her rival.
“This new size suits you Dimitri. You’re finally taking your place beneath my thumb.” Her comment only sent Dimitri into a frothing rage. “Can’t wait to have a class reunion again and have Claude join you at your stature.”
“You’ll die for this,” Dimitri said, venom in his voice.
“It’s adorable that you think you still have any agency.” Edelgard smirked, pressing her thumb further against his chest and earning more pained groans. "Guess I'll have to break you like a mount."
