Fairing better with the less fair

Deciding that both Edelgard and Petra were too dangerous in their own rights, Byleth came to the conclusion that the best option, though still a dreadful idea, was to seek out one of the men in his class. It wouldn't be too much more of a walk than Edelgard or Petra to reach one of them, and their rooms were in the same direction, so if one didn't pan out the others would work. But who to go to help for? Caspar, being as hyperactive as he is, could easily kill him without even noticing. Linhart could do the same, though in an act of lethargy rather than energy, and Ferdinand? Ferdinand would most likely try and turn this into proof that he was better than Edelgard, having rescued the professor in his time of need. He had almost forgotten Hubert, and shuddered when he did remember the vassal. No doubt he would be the most dangerous to contact, considering the hatred he seemed to harbor towards the teacher.
