With slow deliberation Charlene raised the spoon to her lips. Not so much to torture the little creature in her spoon, though that was a result, but so that she wouldn't spill it's contents as she listened to the conversation she was having over the phone.
For Jon the sight of the Dinosaur's mouth filling his vision was both terrifying and arousing at the same time. An odd thing to have such a sensation as you are seconds away from doom. Beyond the green scaly muzzle of the Dinosaur he could make out Charlene's blue eyes. They were not looking at him but at a spot on the wall as though she was deep in thought.
"Are you serious?"
Hot humid air blasted over Jon as she spoke. Beyond the scaled lips he could see glimpses of the fate that awaited him. One last time he cried out as loud as he could to try to save himself, then Charlene's mouth opened. Strands of Saliva hung from between the top and bottom teeth. Bits of cereal clung to the wide tongue which dropped down to reveal a dark tunnel that beckoned to him to enter. The spoon scraped against the front incisors as it made it's way onto the tongue. then everything went dark. Jon was dumped unceremoniously onto the bumpy surface of Charlene's tongue as the spoon was pulled way. For the briefest of moments there was total stillness in that slimy chamber. Then he was tossed up to the roof of her mouth as chewing began.
CRUNCH. CRUNCH. CRUNCH.
Oblivious of what was going on inside her mouth Charlene chewed slowly while listening to the conversation at the other end of the phone and preparing to scoop up another spoonful of cereal. So intently focused on these two things that she didn't even notice the miniaturized human's affords to avoid her crushing teeth anymore than the efforts of the beetle that attempted the same thing with even less success.
Time was not on Jon's side, and as Charlene slowly turned sugary O's and marshmallows into gooey pulp the end was inevitable.
