“How did you know this book was real?” Ruby asked.
“There was something… off about the book,” Cinder replied. “I wasn’t sure why until I saw the title. Your eagerness with a book was enough to warrant suspicion. I can’t recall seeing you ever run around excited with a book.” She leaned against the wall and crossed her arms.
Ruby blushed and rubbed the back of her head.
“Hehe, yeah. You got me there.” She looked at the book in her hand. “And you just want to join me and have some fun?”
“Yes,” Cinder replied. “Working on progressing my Huntress skill is one thing, but I was looking for something like a hobby to relax with.” She smiled at Ruby. “From your early comments about it not working for me, I take it you used it?”
“I swapped my age with Yang to see what it was like being older, but I swapped back.” Ruby rubbed her foot. “I was a little surprised and wanted to make sure I could turn back.”
“So you know that anything you change can be reverted back to normal then,” Cinder pointed out. “So you don’t have to worry about anything being irreversible.”
“Good point!” Ruby cheered up and she found herself watching Cinder a little closer. The girl was really pretty, with a well proportion body that could give Blake and Yang run for their money. But what made her the most mysterious was her keen mind and cool her head in battle. She always knew what to do and say. “Want to try it out? I’ll make it so you can observe the changes.”
“I would enjoy that.” Cinder admitted. “Did you have a small test in mind?”
“Hehe, yep!” Ruby started writing in the book. “Watch… and boom!”
Cinder blinked and looked down. She was now in Ruby’s body and clothes.
“Ta dah!” Ruby declared. “We swapped bodies!”
“Fascinating.” Ruby got to watch her expression change to surprise and amusement. Cinder’s demeanor was still visible. While Cinder was observing herself, Ruby looked down at her new sexy body and the fancy red dress. “So are people going to recognize us as ourselves, or think I’m Ruby and you’re me.”
“Right now, I’m you to everyone and you’re me,” Ruby said. “I can change that if you want, or swap us back. Thought it might be fun to see how people acted when I was a beautiful girl.”
“You’re quite cute yourself,” Cinder replied. “But thank you for the compliment.”
