Eventually, Sakura did catch up with Naruto. The blonde had left drippings of aromatic sauces and bits of succulent meat all the way to the rooftop of an abandoned building. It was a great distance from his home, having been located at the opposite side of the village. Sakura pondered the possibility of this certain spot as the location Naruto's 'hoard'. Upon approaching the decrepit home, Sakura hid behind a nearby water tank, peering from the side to monitor Naruto's actions.
Thankfully, Naruto was out of his perverted, transformation Jutsu and was currently eating a braised shank of meat. The wet sounds of Naruto messily chomping and swallowing the meat mimicked the table manners of a child. He was sitting on a fold-out chair, with the price tag still attached. Naruto was also wearing chain-linked jewelry made from the purest forms of platinum and gold, his eyes covered with expensive sunglasses and he wore designer dress-pants stained with meat juices. Sakura frowned as she realized that Naruto's kleptomania was not reserved for just food items. Looking at the surrounding area, Sakura found out that Naruto had been stealing other trinkets; such as jewelry, fabrics and other expensive commodities. These were not even things that Naruto could really use in his daily life and it became obvious that Naruto was simply stealing for the hell of it.
Sighing out of frustration, Sakura quickly performed a shunshin and teleported directly behind Naruto. The swirling distortion of space and time was unheard by Naruto, whose eyes and ears were fixated on the food before him. However, it would not be that way for long, as Naruto heard someone clearing their throat behind his back. "The jig is up, brat." Sakura spoke behind Naruto's back, crossing her arms and frowning. Naruto instantly jumped out of his seat and turned to face Sakura, his lips stained with crimson sauce, his eyes filled with shock and his senses on overdrive.
"AH! S-Sakura! W-What a surprise!" Naruto stuttered, throwing his arms and hands out in a comical manner, trying to loosen Sakura's solemn demeanor. And as expected, Naruto's wacky and startled actions did nothing to break Sakura's attitude.
"So, are you going to tell me where you got all of this stuff?" Sakura asked as she bent down to pick up a ring with the biggest emerald she had ever seen imbedded into the metal frame. Naruto began sweating bullets and Sakura knew that Naruto wouldn't tell the truth, but she had to hear Naruto's explanation.
"A-Ah! A-About that!" Naruto stammered, as he subsequently hummed and paused, as if an excuse was not though of previously for the sheer amount of expensive items he was in possession of. "T-These were gifts!" Naruto shouted in response. "Y-Yeah! T-These w-w-were gifts t-tha-" Naruto didn't have time to finish his sentence as Sakura grabbed Naruto by the arm, roughly pulling him over to her. The force of Sakura's pull yanked the necklaces draped around Naruto's neck off of him. His sunglasses were tossed off his face, his shank of meat was thrown to the ground and Naruto's stolen pants came flying off.
Naruto was nearly nude, save for the froggy-printed undies he was wearing. "You absolute liar!" Sakura yelled. "I know that you stole all of these items, I know that you used that perverted Jutsu to do the job. But you think that I am stupid enough to believe you were just given these items?!" Sakura asked as she shook Naruto's arm, the blonde's body quaking as Sakura shook him. Naruto's began to swell with tears as he began to sniffle.
"L-Let me ex-explain.." Naruto tried to speak, but was swiftly silenced as Sakura....
