You let out a deep sigh and pick yourself back up from off the ground. This is a bit bad, you're not going to lie, and not just you getting shrunk down in size. It was really stupid of you to fall asleep in the wild area above your hometown, Pallet Town, but you were already well acquainted enough with the Pokemon out here that they would mostly leave you alone, so you decided to go out for a quick second for a little nap. You really didn't account for a Mew to shrink you and fly off, cause that wasn't in the realm of possibilities for you until that moment.
Maybe Professor Oak knows a way to solve this. You know that Mew wanted you to follow wherever she flew off to, but with being this vulnerable with wild Pokemon roaming around will not end well. Though they are level two or whatever, but a Rattata or Pidgey can still kidnap you the same despite their level. So you decide to brave the wild and head back to town. Luckily there are only two sections of tall grass to get through to get back to town.
Staying hidden in the tall grass is your best bet in this situation. Being smaller than the other Pokemon hiding in the tall grass would give you an advantage against them, just like how being smaller in tall grass works out for the Pokemon themselves against other people. Though, with your vision being almost obstructed by the grass, you had some very close calls. One where you were just about ran into a Rattata in which you barely stopped yourself from doing so, and another were a Pidgey landed right behind you, giving you a shock. You made it through one of the sections of tall grass, and you only have one more left. Still, though, you stay as cautious as ever.
You sneakily crouch through the other tall grass, which has a smaller area than the other one. There's barely any Pokemon in this area to start off with, so you easily walk to the end of it, and reach town. You breathe a sigh of relief and sit down for a bit. Now that you are here, the next option is to get to Professor Oak's lab. Hopefully the door will open for you, despite your size.
That's when you feel a shiver down your spine. Maybe it's a bad idea to take a rest out in the open. You might be out of the wild grass, but there are still Pokemon that can catch you off guard, especially sitting near tall grass. You stand up and begin to walk to the lab...
Not even five steps in, you feel something running towards you. Your legs become immobile out of fear as the vibrations became louder and louder, until they stopped right behind you. As far as you know, there is a wild Pokemon standing right behind you, and it's probably staring right at you. You can't bring yourself to see what it is, your legs won't allow such an action.
A gust of air suddenly pulls at you, making you shiver a bit. The Pokemon is smelling you, maybe checking out what you are. That's when you hear them call out...
