As you watch the Mew fly away, your eyes of course went wide. You can’t let this be the end of it! You were right next to Saffron City, laying down there. You cannot let this go, you need to get Mew.
“W-Wait!” You shout to the Mew as it flew away even more. “Let’s uh... discuss the rules of the game!”
You see the legendary that was flying away from you holt in the air. Her tail wagging left and right, as she turned. A large smile on her face, as she went down.
You try to stand your guard, but the size she had over you. It was a bit more intimidating then the cute Pokemon you were just playing with. Regardless you hold your way there, knowing you need this.
“Sure, let’s discuss! Are you actually excited for the game!?” She wore the largest smile. You look back at her, before you nod.
“Uh... yeah. Come down here, and let’s talk.”
“You are trying to tag me, nope! Hehe, once we talk about this, i’m gone!” Mew giggled catching on. “How about this, I have to stay in Kanto, huh? That way it’s fair to you.”
“F-Fair...” You say back to her. “Look at my size, there is no way I can go around. It would uh... be pretty boring, right?”
“Boring, how would it be boring?” She questioned back. You had her, you just need to reel her in.
“Well, i’ll be walking through Kanto, trying to find you. While you. You will be bored just waiting for me. Not fun right?”
She thought about it, and nodded. “So, maybe we can lower the game. Just stay in this route!”
“Oh, that does sound fun!” Mew said playing along.
“Oh but there are other Pokemon here, like Vulpix’s, Growlithe’s, or maybe even a Pidgey. Well, guess I won’t find you.” You say playing up as quite the actor.
“No, don’t give up. You can do it!” She said of course concerned.
“It’s not that, just think about it. I’ll get eaten before I find you, and then you will be by yourself with no playmate. Oh well.” You say with a shrug. Mew was now looking disappointed.
“So what are you saying, we can’t play.”
“I’m saying there are too many problems, oh well. I mean, i’m not even a trainer, so if I go out there, well just think about it.”
She did think about it, and get even sadder about it. “So we can’t play.”
“Tell you what Mew, we can play something else.” You smile back to her. “You grow me big, and we can play whatever game you want! We can even play a game at my house, doesn’t that sound fun.”
She leaned her face in, to the point where you could touch it. “That... does sound fun! Very fun!” She said eagerly. “Let’s do that, Hide N Seek is a boring game anyway. It’s a lot of waiting and doing nothing!” She changed her tune real quick, she was like a child. It did make you chuckle.
“Cool! But you know... you gotta grow me big first, before we can play!”
“But you are so cute!” She said, as you chuckle.
“Please Mew... please...”
“Okay fine,” She flew her way up above, as her eyes started to glow. “Okay, get ready!”
Yes, this was perfect. You could of been in quite the problem, but thankfully she was fixing you. All you had to was wait there eagerly. Waiting for the Pokemon to grow you.
The thing is, she didn’t ever get given the chance.
“Gotcha Mew!” A voice yelled, as you look up to Mew. Only to see the Pokemon was hit by a Pokeball!
The ball hit the Pokemon, as Mew got brought right into the Pokeball. The legendary Pokemon, becoming nothing but light as you were stunned about this. The ball fell down in front of you, as you could not believe what was happening.
If Mew is caught, are you stuck this size! Hopefully not. What, what are you thinking? Mew’s a legendary, she can break her way out. It started to shuffle left and right once, but you had confidence.
Although as it started to shake left and right second, you got concerned. You had a panic, how could you not. The ball, it didn’t look look like a Pokeball. It was purple right now, and had a giant M.
It was... it was a Master Ball! Aka the ball no Pokemon could break out.
A third shake, and finally a ding. Mew was caught! It was a sneak attack sure, but Mew was caught.
“No!” You say running up to the ball. “Mew come on out, I need you!” You bang your small hands against the ball. You have never had one of these in your hand, so you have no idea how to actually open it!
You need Mew, and you were so close to returning to your normal height. Why did a trainer have to come, and why did it have to be a Master Ball! The rarest ball there is, and probably the only ball that could actually catch the Pokemon! What are you gonna do?
“I caught Mew, I can’t believe it!” The trainer said. As you see a giant sneaker come down right next to you. Of course you jumped when this happened, and as you look up all you could see was descending fingers, coming to pick up the ball. Although you weren’t involved and touched, you still cowered.
The giant ball picked up, moving all the way up and lifting up to the trainer.
“I can’t believe this, I caught Mew!” The trainer said as they started to move away! No, you can’t let this be.
Although Mew is your only help right now, this trainer! You need to go ahead and stick with this trainer! So you eagerly run your way over, and grab onto the large lace of the shoe, climbing on and sticking.
