You would stop as the barking tone of the woman throws you off. This is clearly a woman who takes her job seriously and was not one to mess with. The sword at her hip also helped your lips find the words you needed and in a respectful tone you would call out,

"My name is _______ ! I was in wreck up the road and need to find out where I am."

The woman would look you over and weigh her options. She almost seems to be deciding whether to trust your words or not.
