"Who brought these flowers here?" Jack asked in annoyance. She stayed fifteen feet away from the mix of daffodils and daisies.Shane looked over at the cemetary's stone mason with half-lidded eyes.
"Oh yeah, forgot you're allergic to them, hang on." He spoke. With a few quick steps, the small man picked the flowers up from the front desk and put them into the back room. He came back and dusted his hands off.
"Why don't you wear a mask?" Shane questioned Jack as she hesitantly came over. She kept a hand over her mouth and nose for a few moments until she knew she was okay.
"Then nobody can see my winning smile." She joked. "Anyways Shane, I got the Gilligan's angel out in shop. Get the 'three stooges' to lift it over to them."
"You know they hate that name."
"And are they here right now? No. Then they never heard me use it."
Shane gave her a half-grin and opened his palm up, with that action, Jack handed over a slip. Shane placed it into a box marked 'to the boss' right before he handed an envelope to Jack.
"You know the drill. Pictures of what they want and other parameters are in it." Shane waved her off as Jack walked back to her quarters.
She looked around for a few moments before she stretched her arm out like a hookline and grabbed a hold of a nearby fence post. With a soft 'whee' from her mouth, Jack shot forward like a bullet.
She landed with a thud she landed on the soft grass, barely feeling a thing, Jack lengthed her legs to run forth back to her section.
The tomboy was never born with these powers, an accident involving some tainted coke had given Jack the ability to stretch like Mr.Fantastic. It also aggravated her already existing allergies to the extreme. After this accident Jack thought she was a freak, but she soon encountered others. Great Tract's seemingly kept its population of weirdos on the downlow, even though two-thirds of the younger folk in town suffered great life-changing conditions.
"Heck my two best friends have a rack that a supermodel would envy and the inflates like a sponge when she hits water." Jack mused.
