If there was one other thing Haruka enjoyed as much as her Kaiju status, it was anime. More specifically, school anime's.
She just loved the drama and characters, and more importantly their school uniforms. Japanese school uniforms hadn't really changed much over the years and had become a staple of the culture.
So much so that they even reached other countries through means such as movies, anime's, cosplays, and video games. They had become a part of pop culture all around the world.
Especially the schoolgirls uniform.
That white sailor-style outfit with the blue skirt and ribbon. Haruka adored that look. She could remember the first time she'd ever set eyes on outfits like that. Her mother was going through her old VHS collection when she came across her old Sailor Moon episodes that she recorded off T.V.
Haruka could remember just sitting down with her mother and watching anime. She could recall Usagi running down the sidewalk with her cute little buns and that white and blue uniform.
It was love at first sight for the future Kaiju girl. Then she would transform into Sailor Moon and had an even cuter modified version that made her look so cool.
From that day forward the Japanese schoolgirl's uniform was forever burned into her brain and into her heart. So it was an absolute joy when she got to wear the Kaiju-sized version Silk put together for her.
It just felt so comfortable against her skin and it was snug and colorful. It was the standard white and blue with a red ribbon. It made her feel almost like a high-schooler herself.
Now she was an 160ft schoolgirl and loving every second of it. She thanked the people over at Silk and headed off into town...
