It had been quite some time since the Orange Rain incident, and in that time it gave the first of the giantess' time to re-evaluate her situation. At first it was odd seeing others like herm, people that were her size or bigger just wasn't a sight she was used to.
Then there was the woman responsible, the self proclaimed queen of the monsters, Junko. She'd created this whole kaiju situation by stealing her DNA. Haruka didn't know how to feel about that little tidbit of information, but it wasn't like the blonde giant was using her genes for evil.
What should've been complete chaos or the end of the world never came. Instead the world and everyone in it just adapted. Kaiju were now a regular sight to see and have been accommodated by the world government to fit into normal society. That was both surprising and impressive.
Haruka being the first of the kaiju race was made into something of an ambassador of sorts. Because she already had a strong connection to the people, it made sense that she be the one to represent the other giants when at big meetings or special events.
The army had also gone silent since Junko's plan. They were still around, but there presence was next to nil. Even Tanaka seemed to fall off the face of the earth which saddened the resident kaiju girl since she wouldn't be able to go head-to-head with his experiments anymore.
Oh well, she just hoped wherever the former general was, he was doing alright. But one funny moment that did come out of all this was her own mother's reaction. She'd been out in the orange rain and thought she'd grow like the others... only to be left feeling disappointed. No growth for her.
The woman complained and complained and Haruka could remember laughing her head off when she made that pouty face of hers. Even her own father Ken found it hilarious. He would constantly tell her at least they could be small together. Needless to say he slept on the couch a lot more now.
Which brought everything back to Haruka who was lounging on the beach of her island. Today was her day off from all her other obligations and she free to basically do whatever. "Hmm? I wonder what I'm gonna do today?"
