A lot of things are surprising you about the fact that Lady Nanos is a halfling.
First is the fact that she's a halfling. To the best of your knowledge, you didn't think halflings had noble titles. You always thought that they were organized along tribal or clan lines. Nothing too detailed. Just enough organization to ensure everyone got good food and good drink and plenty of it.
Maybe this Lady Nanos did some service to the Crown and was awarded her title.
Next is Lady Nanos' size. She looks to be only two and a half feet tall, just a third of your height. You knew halflings were short, but you never knew halflings were that short.
Finally, there was how Lady Nanos looked. For the most part, halflings were an attractive people, but the only feelings they generally stirred in you were amusement and contentment. Seriously, is there anything that will put a smile on your face and your heart at ease like watching a table full of halflings enjoying the simple pleasures of life?
But Lady Nanos didn't look like a typical halfling. She looked as if she started life off as a human woman (a very hot, attractive human woman) and someone cast a spell to shrink her to her current size.
The stirrings Lady Nanos is causing you are quite disconcerting.
As you stand there running all these questions and observations in your head, Lady Nanos spots you and waves you over.
"You must be Hunterssun the ranger," she says, waving you to the chair opposite of her. "I was told you were big," she adds, looking you up and down, "but you make me feel like a thirdling instead of a halfling."
You swear that Lady Nanos' gaze lingered on your crotch, but you must be mistaken. After all, what woman would want to be intimate with a man whose member was a fourth her size?
