Your blood runs cold at the sight of the man in the tunnel. He's actually a handsome man, and appears only a few years older than you, but none of that matters. He is the duke's personal mage, and by all accounts, quite an accomplished one.

"Oh, you startled me, my lord," you say in a breathy voice, playing the innocent peasant girl angle to the limit. "Are we in a secret passage? I have heard tales of such things, but I did not know such things truly existed!"

"Knock it off," the mage replied in a blunt voice. "I knew you were a spellcaster the minute you stepped on the castle grounds. And I must say, I am impressed with the caliber of your illusions." The way the mage looks you up and down definitely makes you regret both the outfit you chose to wear and the nature of your glamour spell.

"But enough of this," the mage continues. "I drew you into this secret passage to have a private word with you. But first..."

The mage raises his hand, makes a gesture and
