The boy is a character from Steven Universe who was born small.

Steven Universe: Steven Universe is born to Greg Universe (who was also born small as well) and Rose Quartz, who was secretly Pink Diamond, the rebellious warrior defected from The Great Diamond Authority. After Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz gave her physical form to create Steven, the young half-human, half-Gem hybrid was raised by his guardians, the Crystal Gems. He is a breath of fresh air for the citizens of Beach City and often sees the positive side to being tiny, even though being small can be hazardous at times.
Lars Barriga: Lars Barriga is the teenaged employee of the Big Donut shop along with his female co-worker, Sadie. At some point, Steven and Lars are kidnapped and taken to Homeworld where Steven faces trial while Lars is held as evidence of human incompetency. During their escape, Lars is killed by a robinoid, but he is revived by Steven's tears. Lars explores the universe as the tiny, fearless leader of the Off Colors group, a small resistance of "defective" or "off-color" Gem Fusions.
Peedee Fryman: Peedee Fryman is the son of Mr. Fryman, the co-owner of Fried Pizza along with the Pizza family, and the younger brother of Ronaldo Fryman, a mysterious phenomena fanatic who disappeared trailing a story for his blog, "Keep Beach City Weird." Peedee is close friends with Kiki and Jenna Pizza despite their fathers' rivalry, and they often hang out with each other when business isn't too busy. Still, Peedee can't help but wonder what happened to his brother and would sneak out to find any trace of him left.

Onion: Onion is the son of the fisherman, Yellowtail, the painter, Vidalia, and the younger half-brother of Sour Cream. Onion is a strange, silent, and mischievous boy who weirds out Steven and often gets into dangerous, delinquent behavior. He is also friends a few other boys who indulges in these criminal behaviors, including theft and vandalism, which puts them in big trouble with the giant female cast members. (A/N: Since Onion is still practically a child during Steven Universe Future, he should still appear in this route.)
