The babysitter was a large cow woman, white with brown spots, and flowing brown hair. Originally from the countryside, the giant cow anthro wore a flannel shirt tucked into her tight blue jeans, which surprisingly help up well against her large breasts and behind. Hardly anyone could say much for her pudgy middle, since it was overshadowed by her assets.
"Howdy, y'all must be the Portsons, right?" the anthro cow inquired, speaking in a country drawl.
"Yes, and you must be Belle," Mrs. Portson said. "Our friends, he Andersons told us about you. You babysat their son, Johnny, and they said you managed to get him to behave despite him being, uh... loud and obnoxious?"
"Yep, that li'l boy was a real spitfire," Belle confirmed. "I can't stand kids who are rambunctious and loud, so I put them on the straight and narrow and I always make sure they stay there for their folks."
"Well, you won't have any trouble with Harvey. He's as straight as any kid can get," Mrs. Portson said, rubbing her scared stiff son gently on his shoulders, nudging him forward. "Of course, he's a bit shy, but I assure you, he won't give you too much trouble. Don't be rude, Harvey, go up and say hello to your new babysitter."
Another gentle nudge from his mother, and Harvey was standing at the toes of Belle's country boots. He watched as the giant oversized cow anthro bent down to get a better look at him, her gigantic brown eyes focused entirely on him. All he could do was whimper, "hi" and awkwardly wave.
"Howdy, little one. You must be Harvey," Belle gently said. Harvey "eeped" and retreated behind the sanctity of his mother, holding him close to her but also giving him a disapproving eye. "Aw, it's alright, little one. I know you're just too shy and I may seem too big for you to handle, but I'm a gentle giant. Honest. If I really wanted to scare you, it's because I'm teachin' ya some manners on misbehavin'."
"Go on, Harvey," Mrs. Portson gently begged. "Give her another try."
At his mother's gentle urging, Harvey reluctantly and cautiously approached the anthro cow giantess. Belle gently lowered her hand to the ground, palm up. Harvey went up and slowly reached for the tip of Belle's middle finger. He grasped it once, pulled back, and then reached for it again. This time, he managed to hold on to the giant fingertip tightly and gently shook it.
"See? I'm not so scary, am I?" Belle asked rhetorically.
"N-No, not really," Harvey squeaked timidly.
Mrs. Portson checked her watch as her husband brought Harvey's luggage from the trunk. "We've gotta go, our flight leaves in less than an hour," Mrs. Portson said. She quickly approached her young son and gave him a farewell kiss and a hug. "Bye, Harvey. We'll miss you, but we'll be back in a week."
"No! No!" Harvey began to weep; he hated it when he had to say long goodbyes to his mother, and immediately clung to her. "Mommy, please don't go! I wanna go with you!"
"I'm sorry, baby, but you can't come with us," Mrs. Portson said, prying her son off of her jacket and gently holding his wrists in anticipation of further resistance. "This is the only place we'll know you're safe. I'll call you when we land, okay? I promise."
"No!" Harvey wailed, desperately trying to break free from his mother's claps on his hands. " I don't want you to leave, mommy! I don't want you to leave!"
"Alright, now, I think that's quite enough there, little one," Belle gently scolded as she gently wrapped her massive fingers around Harvey's body, pulling him away from his mother and rearranging her fingers to form a wall where he couldn't escape from. Harvey wailed and screamed and cried, but he couldn't escape from Belle's gentle, firm grasp. "Don't worry, Mrs. Portson, I'll make sure he calms down. He'll have to get over it very soon."
"I'm counting on you, Belle," Mrs. Portson said, quickly walking back to the car. "Goodbye, Harvey! Mommy loves you!"
"Mommy! Please don't go! Mommy!"
Harvey cried as he watched his parents pull away from Belle's apartment and drive off into the horizon. The boy continued to cry, even after his parent's car disappeared, and even more so when Belle carried him and his luggage back inside. Even when Belle closed the door behind them, Harvey wouldn't stop crying.
"That's enough now, Harvey," Belle admonished delicately. "Your ma and pa are gone now, but they'll be back. Until then, you're going to be bunkin' with me for the next week, so I don't want you to cry no more."
But Harvey couldn't comply. His separation anxiety was reaching levels beyond anything normal than his mother dropping him off at first grade school. He continued to cry and wail, and Belle was losing her patience. "Now Harvey, I need you to stop cryin'. If you don't I'll have to punish you, and I wouldn't want to tell your ma that I had ta punish you as soon as she left."
What happens next?
1.) Harvey stops crying; Belle explains the rules once he's calmed down.
2.) Harvey doesn't stop crying; Belle administers her punishment.
