Chapter #16

Timmy's Indigestible Situation

    by: ejones312 Author IconMail Icon
Timmy should’ve felt his skin burning as he was showered by the corrosive digestive liquids; however, there was no such corrosion as each drop simply slipped off of him without so much as leaving a burn. Timmy never learned about the word “corrosion”, but he was taught the basics of the digestive system, more importantly about how food breaks down in the stomach.

Now that he was trapped in the Hippolyta’s stomach, he was certain he would break down like food too.

So how come he didn’t feel like his body was breaking down?

Timmy felt the stomach acids pool around at his ankles. At best, he was soaking in a little caustic pool of liquids that felt like a hot bath, no burns and no trouble breathing.

Curious, Timmy crawled over to a stomach wall and lightly tapped it.

“Momma? Momma, can you hear me?”

Outside of the stomach, Hippolyta felt a chill course through her body, having accidentally sealed Timmy inside it. Philippus and Artemis consoled their Queen as she was on the verge of going mad, already facing the guilt of the imminent digestion of her shrunken charge. When at last she felt and heard Timmy move around and call out for her, she snapped out of her panic and turned her attention to her abdomen.

“Timmy? I can hear you, child,” Hippolyta responded, gently holding her belly. “Are you hurt, Timmy?”

“N-No,” answered Timmy.

“Do you feel any burning? Or any trouble breathing?”

“No.”

Hippolyta looked to Philippus and Artemis, all of them sharing an incredulous look.

“Momma, is that what happens to food when it’s in the tummy?”

“It's supposed to,” Hippolyta answered, just as confused as the boy, but she and her two fellow Amazons came to the same conclusion.

“He’s not digesting,” Philippus voiced aloud.

“How is this possible?” Artemis asked.

Hippolyta pondered this question, and suddenly, the answer came to her.

“Timmy’s shrinkage,” she deduced. “The magic that encircled our island and shrunk him must’ve made him indestructible to many hazards.”

“Does that mean the boy may survive?” Philippus asked.

“There’s only one way to find out, and I fear it will not be pleasant.” Hippolyta gently tapped her belly. “Timmy, I need you to crawl to the other side of my stomach. There should be a valve that will lead you further into my body. It is the only way for you to escape my digestive system. Do you think you can find it?”

“I’ll…” Timmy sniffed. “I’ll try.”

After wiping his tears, Timmy crawled on all fours and searched for the valve. He didn’t know what the valve was, but from what Hippolyta could describe it as, it was his one chance of escaping the hellish prison of her stomach. He waded through the stomach acids, searching around for the elusive valve submerged underneath a shallow pool of liquid in the darkness. The motions created a scuttling sensation to Hippolyta from the outside, making the Amazon Queen herself slightly nauseous.

It didn’t take that long before Timmy found the valve leading out of the stomach. It was like a big, puffy donut made of flesh. As he touched it, it seemed to sink into the surface.

Timmy ran his hands around the valve and found the opening area. The little boy used what strength he had in his age and size to push the pyloric sphincter open.

What happens next?

1.) Timmy opens up the pyloric sphincter and journeys further into Hippolyta’s digestive system.

2.) Timmy couldn’t open up the pyloric sphincter and is stuck in Hippolyta’s stomach for a long time.
