This choice: Lucas woke up and ran into Tiffany's room. • Go Back...Chapter #7Lucas woke up and ran into Tiffany's room. by: G-Breaker After successfully shrinking Lucas Nickel down to her size, Hova was now carrying the minuscule boy back to the anthill with her. Lucas was still asleep as Hova carried him through the hallway, but without his blanket to keep his naked body warm, Lucas felt the chill until he finally woke up.
"H-huh? What's going on?" Lucas awoke in time to realize that he was no longer in his room. But that wasn't the only thing he noticed.
Once he opened his eyes, Lucas quickly realized that he was completely naked and being dragged through his house's hallway. But what really caught him off guard was the fact that his captor was actually an ant. Furthermore, he also saw how huge everything looked around him and felt his entire world get turned upside down once it became clear to him that he shrunk.
"No way! I shrunk!" Lucas shouted, catching Hova's attention. Once the female ant heard Lucas' voice, she panicked and tried to run even faster. But Lucas was so shocked that he immediately tried to break away from her, which he managed to accomplish.
The tiny boy fell on the floor and saw the red ant in front of him, who actually was a bit taller than him. Hova knew Lucas was scared, so she tried to approach him gently to avoid any problems.
"Um. Hello, human friend. Now I know this is strange, but-" Lucas was too scared to listen to Hova and quickly ran away from her. "Wait! Come back!"
Hova then chased after Lucas as he ran towards another door in the hallway. He didn't know where it lead to since it was still dark, but he didn't care as long as he could get away from the talking ant.
"Please! I won't hurt you!" Hova pleaded, but to no avail.
"Forget it, ant!" Lucas yelled. He kept running to the door and was lucky enough to be able to fit right under it. "I'm not going anywhere with you! I'm out of here!"
Lucas slid under the gap between the door and the floor and tried to catch his breath once he was on the other side. With the lights off, Lucas had no idea whose room he ran into until he smelled a certain aroma in it.
"What's that smell?" Lucas sniffed. He walked into the room hoping to find the source of the smell as it became more familiar to him. "Wait a minute. Is that...perfume? Oh no." Lucas continued walking until he bumped into something big lying on the floor in front of him.
The lights might've been off, but Lucas could still make out what was blocking his path. To his shock, it was a stick of red lipstick, which was as big as a bus at his newly-diminished size. "This is..." Lucas gulped. "This is Tiffany's room!"
Even in the dark, Lucas could tell he was right. Not only was he shrunken to the size of an ant, but now he was shrunken in the bedroom of his teenage older sister, Tiffany Nickle. Lucas never saw his sister's room before since she never let him in. But now that he was finally in her bedroom, he didn't know whether to feel happy or scared.
Given the current circumstances, scared was the most likely choice. Lucas finally saw what it was like in his big sister's room. There was a vanity mirror with her makeup supplies, a desk with her computer, a dresser, and a nightstand next to her bed. As for the decor, Tiffany's walls were mostly purple and decorated with posters of famous pop stars and had a CD player for her music. Lucas had no idea Tiffany's room was so well-decorated with so many amenities that teenagers would like.
"Wow. So, this is what it's like in here." Lucas marveled. Seeing how nice Tiffany's room was almost made him feel jealous.
"Lucas!" Hova called, reminding the shrunken boy that there was still an ant after him.
"Uh oh! I've got to hide!" Lucas looked all over Tiffany's room for a place where the ant couldn't find him. But with how tiny he was, he didn't see a lot of options.
That was when Lucas heard a small noise and looked ahead to see the form of his slumbering sister on her bed. From his new perspective, Tiffany was absolutely gigantic, even when asleep. Tiffany was always taller than Lucas since she was the older sibling, but now, he just felt even more insignificant by that fact.
"Lucas!" He heard the ant's voice again and saw her coming for him.
Without a second thought, Lucas decided to take a chance and run towards Tiffany's bed. He didn't know what he could do to survive, but at least he wasn't going to get captured by a crazy ant. Lucas got closer and closer to Tiffany's bed, but it was so far away that he stopped to catch his breath in the middle of the floor.
"Okay. Time out." Lucas panted. "Man, it is not easy being small."
Poor Lucas still had a long way to go before reaching his sister's bed, but once he got his energy back, he was good and ready. He saw the ant coming right behind him and resumed running to Tiffany. But soon enough, he managed to make it and saw a part of her sheets on the floor.
With that, Lucas grabbed onto the sheets and climbed up to Tiffany's bed. Hova tried to follow him, but since it was so dark, she couldn't see where the boy went. Lucas eventually made it on top of Tiffany's bed and was right under her covers.
Tiffany was still fast asleep and had no idea that her little brother was currently hiding under her covers. Lucas still couldn't see anything under the covers, but he could feel his sister's body in front of him. However, he had to avoid touching her to keep out of trouble.
"Oh man." Lucas blushed. "I hope she doesn't see me in here. That'd be worse than getting caught by an ant."
