This choice: Only you knowing about it • Go Back...Chapter #6Only you knowing about it by: TheChanger   You figure it would probably more fun if only you were aware of the swap. That way, your mother couldn't tell you what to do in her life! Also, it'd be pretty funny to see your mom acting like you, a teenage girl, instead of being so old and responsible and whatever.
You enter "Only User Knows"" and hit enter.
The screen goes white for a few seconds, and then displays the message "Swap Complete". You feel... nothing at all. You look at the thing, wondering if it had actually done anything. Looking around and at yourself, nothing seems to have changed. You're even still in your same clothes, a cute tank top and some jeans. Huh. How are you supposed to tell if this thing worked?
As if hearing your question, you someone coming towards the kitchen, and hear your sister Sarah's voice call out. "Mom"?
She enters the kitchen, sees you, and smiles. "Mom! Hi! I wanted to ask you something."
You try to contain your excitement, but can't help but smiling widely anyway. It worked! Sarah apparently saw you as mom! She returns your smile, thinking you were just happy to see her, and waits.
Oh, right! She wanted something. As the mom, it was your job to listen to her. "Uh, what is it, sweetie?" You say awkwardly. Part of you thinks this might be some sort of prank or mistake, so you watch her for her response.
"Well, I was just talking to Jane," she must mean your mom as you! ", and we were wondering if we could go for a night swim in a bit? Say, like 8?"
You look at the clock and see that its 6:15pm. Looking back at her, she looks at you expectantly. "Uh, sure, sweetie, thats fine. You and Jane can go for a night swim." Sarah beams at you and gives you a hug, not noticing that her "mother" was now a good 6 inches shorter than her. "Thanks Mom! I'll ask Chris if he wants to come too."
You watch her leave, and then laugh. That was amazing! Sarah, your older sister, thought that you were Mom! You couldn't stop giggling at how funny it was to see her act like that towards you, like she really was your daughter. The device worked, and you could do anything!   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
