Brad looked at the name printed on the card he had selected. He felt a growing excitement building within him.
‘First Mrs. Eliot drops the bombshell that this exercise will involve portraying someone else in class and that they have to be a different gender’ he looked once more at the name on the card in his hands ‘And then I pick this name?’
The card read ‘Elizabeth Eliot’. This random selection put Brad in a bit of a awkward situation. He had been developing a crush on Mrs Eliot all year. ‘Oh boy I hope I don’t embarrass myself in front of her’ Embracing his acting skills, he tried to maintain his composure.
He looked about the room to see how his classmates were fairing. A few appeared uneasy as might be expected. But many seemed pleased with their assignments and to his surprise it was a mix of both boys and girls. Brad considered that for a minute.
‘I could see some boys getting excited at the prospect of touching a girls underwear but I wonder why a girl would want to dress like a boy? The boy’s school uniforms won’t do much to show off their figure.’
Brad’s thinking was interrupted by a question from his friend Jake.
“Mrs Eliot, what exactly do you expect us to do for this project and are we being graded?” Jake was one of the students, because of scheduling conflicts, who had been forced to take Drama class. He typically put in the least amount of effort he could while also trying to not outright fail.
At the front of the room, Mrs. Elizabeth Eliot looked on with a bemused expression. “Good questions Jake. Let me answer your second question first. Yes, you will be graded by me but I will let you all vote on how well the pair do at portraying each other. The class scores will contribute 33% to the final grade.” This announcement caused many students to smile as they assumed their classmates would be very lenient in grading.
“As for what I expect, I’d like to encourage your creativity. You can portray a caricature of your partner or try for as realistic a performance as possible. The full resources of the drama class and stage are available to you all. At the end of four weeks, you all will give a short performance to the class and that will be your grade for this project.”
The class begin whispering to each other. Elizabeth Eliot continued “Let’s try to have fun with this. I was trying to come up with something different to occupy the time until the school year ends in 2 months. There is simply not enough time to put on a full stage production and this way the Administration will not be mad at me for spending the last 2 months of the year watching YouTube videos. In any event, I still expect to let you use the final few weeks of this class as free time so you can prepare for your Final exams in the other classes.
The class seemed to appreciate that last part. One of the girls, Lisa Rizzo raised her hand. “Mrs. Eliot, are you sure there is enough time in class to swap clothes and still work on our performances?” This dark haired girl was considered to be one of the prettiest and most popular girls in the school.
‘Interesting’ Brad thought ‘I would have guessed she would be horrified that a boy would be wearing her uniform and pretending to be her and yet she seems almost eager. I wonder who picked her name out…’
“This class is 55 minutes long and the next period, which is the last one of the day, is Free Study Hall. You are allowed to use that time as you wish. If you and your partner agree, you could spend the two periods working together before swapping back to your own clothes.”
Sensing that there were no further questions she said “Alright, find your partner and then go find a place to change. There are dressing rooms next door in the auditorium that you may use. Do the best you can with the swap and report back her as soon as you can.” The class became a mix of talking and confusion as boys found their female partners and they began to leave the class together.
Brad sheepishly approached Elizabeth Eliot. “Do you have a question?” she asked
Not trusting his voice, Brad just held the card up with her name on it. He was surprised that she seemed very happy that he had picked her name. “Oh goody. I’m glad it’s you Brad. You’re one of my best students. This should be an excellent opportunity for you to broaden your acting skills.”
His cheeks flushed at the compliment. Trying to cover his embarrassment Brad said “I’m surprised you are participating in the project also.”
“There wasn’t an even number of boys and girls unless I helped out. Besides this can be a chance for me to get back into some acting. It’s been a few years.”
Her last comment made Brad realize that he didn’t know very much about Mrs. Eliot.
The two soon found themselves alone in the class. “Shall we get started swapping clothes?” she asked.
Brad looked at her with shock. Partly because she was wearing a dress but mostly because they would be naked in front of each other. He was afraid how his body would react to seeing her nude form.
“I have no objections. I once acted in a play in which the entire cast was naked. In front of a large audience I might add” she said in an off handed manner.
Seeing that Brad was not convinced she offered “How about we turn our backs to one another and place our clothes on a desk? Then we spin about and get dressed.”
Brad agreed so he took off his Navy Blue blazer and carefully laid it on a nearby desk. In short order his tie, Black leather Oxford shoes, black socks, Blue trousers, and white button down shirt were neatly readied for Mrs. Eliot to wear. This left only his white boxer briefs to remove.
‘Here goes nothing’ he thought. “I’m ready” he announced his voice slightly quivering. The two spun in place 180 degrees and Brad now saw her clothes in a pile in from of him. The soft black panties were easy to pull on but the Black bra was a mystery to him.
“Ummm, can you help me with this?” he asked holding the bra up over his shoulder. Mrs. Eliot silently wrapped the garment around his chest and connected it in the back. Even though he had little breast tissue to fill them, the cups had some padding that allowed them to retain their shape.
Next he picked up the pantyhose. Brad knew these could be somewhat fragile. “Any tips on the best way to put these on?”
“How about for today you can skip that part. Better yet, I’ll let you take them home and you can practice there. They’ll feel much nicer if your legs are shaven but that is up to you to decide” she said. Brad felt a tingle run though his body with the knowledge that she was giving him her hosiery.
That left two items. A Black knee length dress with a White collar and White bands at the wrists and a pair of Black and White heels.
Brad was feeling excited as he stepped into the dress and slid his arms into the sleeves. He was having a bit of trouble with the back zipper when Mrs. Eliot intervened.
“Let me help you” and Brad felt the zip go all the way up. He felt a shiver run though his body. That left just the shoes. Brad picked one up and bending one leg upward, he slid the pump onto his foot like he had seen his mother do countless times.
‘It fits! I’m like Cinderella’ he chuckled. After putting on the other shoe he gingerly stood upright. “I’m ready” he said
After a moment Mrs. Eliot said that she was also. The two spun around to see each other. “I’m taller now!” Brad exclaimed.
Mrs. Eliot laughed “That is the first thing you noticed? The heels do add a few inches in height. I’d guess we are both the same height normally. 5’3” right?”
Brad nodded. He was amazed at what his teacher looked like in his clothes. The boys school uniform did much to hide her feminine shape. In fact if she removed her makeup and earrings and cut her shoulder length hair much shorter, Mrs. Eliot might be seen as a typical 15 year old boy.
“How do I look?” Brad asked with a hint of hope in his voice.
“I’d say good but don’t take my word for it. Go next door and find a mirror”
Brad started to walk quickly to the door but found he had to slow down as walking in high heels was a completely new experience.
Several minutes passed and Mrs. Eliot was beginning to wonder what was taking Brad so long. Several of the boy-girl partners had already returned to the room and were engaged in animated conversations. A few even ventured to tease Mrs. Eliot about joining the student body which she took in stride.
Finally Brad returned and Mrs. Eliot broke into a big smile ‘That’s what was taking so long! He made full use of the Props room. I shouldn’t be surprised he would go all in for his portrayal of me. He always fully commits to any role.”
Brad had found a Brown wig from a recent Romeo and Juliette play and added some makeup to enhance his image. The wig was too long to make for a perfect impersonation but she was very impressed. He bore more than a passing resemblance to her now.

Brad approached her, his ability to walk in her heels noticeably improving “So what should we do now” he asked.
She grinned at him “I don’t know Mrs. Eliot, you’re the teacher. What do you think we should do?”
It took a moment but Brad figured out he was being prompted.
Taking a moment to clear his throat, he raised his voice a few octaves “Okay class….”   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
