Don't you hate wakeup alarms? [Choice chapter]

You groan in quiet annoyance as you reach for your phone and turn the alarm off without actually looking. Sunlight this early in the morning was never kind on your eyes. You yawned and rubbed your eyes, slowly opening them, as you felt there was no going back to sleep anytime soon. You didn't even bother checking the time, your phone's screen would be murder on your eyes, but you guessed it was relatively early, though not too early...

You stretched your arms and got up, yawning once more. The first thing you did was go to your bathroom and wash your face, which had the added bonus of waking you up faster. A non intended used of the ancestral mammalian swimming reflex, but a useful one regardless.

After that, you changed your clothes and grabbed your phone, heading out of your room for the kitchen. A good, cold glass of chocolate milk was just about the perfect way to start your day, and hopefully, your mom's amazing cooking would only make it way better.

But, what else could possibly await you on this seemingly innocent, ordinary day?
