"Lulu... When you confessed your feelings to me... I'll admit, it was a lot to take in. I wasn't sure what to do. But I've had enough time to think about it. If you really do feel that way about me... Then I guess I can give it a try too." You managed to get the words out, despite your increasing nervousness.
Lulu gasped softly, and she gripped your hand in return as you had done. She was silent for a moment before she managed to reply.
"R... Really? Blaise, I... Would you really be alright dating someone like me?" She inquired, clearly dying to hear your response.
"Yes, I would. I mean, yeah, we might be a bit of an odd couple, but... Maybe we could make something good out of this. We can't be sure if we don't try, right?"
Lulu's eyes lit up like stars for a moment, before her expression suddenly changed to a more concerned one.
"What's wrong?" You asked, hoping you hadn't said something wrong.
Lulu suddenly sat upright on the couch, looked down at her hands, and looked back up at you. She looked worried about whatever was about to happen. Then she spoke, her voice soft and small sounding.
"Would you be... embarrassed going out with me? Would you... Want people to see you with a woman like me?" She gestured at her own body, as if begging for an evaluation of her entire self.
You were taken aback by this. You weren't sure where this was coming from. She had seemed so excited when she had told you her feelings before. Was she getting cold feet? Was her confidence playing with her emotions?
Whatever the case, it seemed as though Lulu was really doubting herself, and you weren't about to let it happen. You had to let her know - in no uncertain terms - how you felt.
"Lulu... You're a special woman. Any guy would be lucky to have you for a girlfriend, and if you'd really like me to be that guy, I think we could be really happy together." You told her, looking her straight in eye again.
"Oh, Blaise... Oh, Blaise!" Lulu suddenly yelped, and before you knew it she had wrapped her arms around in the tightest hug you'd ever received, and she had thrown her entire body on top of you on the couch. After about 10 seconds of you struggling under her weight and struggling to breath in her embrace, Lulu pulled away, but still kept you pinned under her as she looked down at you from above.
"Blaise, you've made me so happy. I feel like I'm dreaming! I promise I'll be the best girlfriend a guy like you could ever ask for." Her voice was overflowing with joy, and while you were a little frazzled by her show of affection, you were happy too.
"So what now? Should we... Celebrate the occasion somehow?" You suggested.
"Oooooh... That sounds like fun. It is a special occasion after all~" The sultriness in her voice was only getting heavier. "Lets' see... What would be a good way to celebrate..." Lulu pondered, as she jokingly placed a single finger on her chin.
