As Chara exited through the lower window of the lab and dusted herself, she looked towards the direction of her home and was ready to head back. ‘I hope I can get home before mom and dad do, or moms gonna give me an earful. Shame this whole thing didn’t work out for me, but I’ll probably get to see Asriel eye to eye with this small height boost at least.’
With that thought, Chara made her way back home. But as she took her first few steps away from the lab, she noticed a sort of fuzzy, static-like feel in her feet, as if they were asleep. But it wasn’t intense, just noticeable. And that feeling spread its way to the rest of Chara’s body quickly. ‘Nnnn... What is this weird sensation all over me? It’s kind of annoying.’ Chara stopped walking to examine herself, but that feeling went away as soon as she stopped walking ‘It’s gone, just like that? Okay, that’s even weirder.’ She continued walking, and the same sensation returned once more, but Chara continued walking despite of it. ‘There it is again, why do I keep having this strange feeling every time I walk?’ Chara thought to herself. “Augh, I’ll worry about that later, it doesn’t really bother me that much. I just need to get home now.”
Oh poor, soon to be, not-so-little Chara. She hasn’t caught on that the potion she drank is already taking effect on her. Every step she takes would sends a small shockwave through her body, slowly making her taller and bigger. A single step wouldn’t make a difference, but a thousand steps would add up fast, sending inches to her height. And this would soon be apparent to her when she makes it back home.
But how long does it take her to return to the Dreemerr residence?
