Nick was walking cheerfully towards the Zootopia Police Department. He was looking forward to trying out his new watch.
He went inside the ZPD and saw Clawhauser. The cheetah was, as always, savoring his favorite donuts behind the reception desk.
“Clawhauser would be a perfect first test subject,” said Nick to himself.
Testing the watch involved some risks, but the fox couldn’t wait to see the effects described earlier by Stephanie.
He walked over to the cheetah’s desk and said:
“Hey Ben, how are you doing? I need to talk with you in private about… an investigation. Do you mind coming with me to my office?”
“Hello Nick, everything is fine! It doesn’t bother me at all as there hasn’t been much activity since this morning. By the way, Judy was looking for you 10 minutes ago,” replied Clawhauser.
“Ok, thanks for the information.”
The cheetah followed his fox colleague toward Nick and Judy’s office. The bunny wasn’t luckily there, allowing Nick to try his watch on Clawhauser without kindling ZPD officers’ attention.
When Benjamin had his back turned to Nick, the fox took the opportunity and instantly pressed the third crown of the watch. As Stephanie predicted, Nick turned into a ghost.
“What the hell is going on? Nick, where have you been?” the cheetah said, surprised.
The fox was technically still in front of Clawhauser but invisible for his eyes.
“Yes, it worked,” thought Nick amazed, “I can now try out the most intriguing feature of the watch.”
He then wondered how the body possession power worked when Clawhauser went suddenly through Nick’s ghost form.
Everything went black.
When the fox reopened his eyes, he was laying on the floor, Judy next to him. She asked worriedly:
“Benjamin, are you okay? I saw you pass out.”
“Benjamin?” repeated Nick, astonished by his current voice.
“Are you alright Ben? Do you want me to call an ambulance?” replied Judy.
The fox came around and gradually understood the situation. He stood up and reassured the bunny, then promptly headed for the male bathroom.
He gazed at his reflection in the mirror: he was inside Benjamin Clawhauser’s body.
