This choice: She puts Lincoln in a suit and makes Lynn a maid • Go Back...Chapter #13New Wardrobe by: shadow   Lola looked through her options of doll clothes as she dug through the shoebox. “Now Linky,” Lola spoke to her shrunken brother as the white-haired boy tried to keep up illusions despite his nervousness. “You’ve been to my tea parties before, and I know you have class.” The child eyed Lynn, “Unlike some people I could mention.” Lola pulled Lincoln closer and showed him a two-piece grey suit. Lincoln sighed with relief as his worries were put to rest. “I better just dress you two around your clothes; I don’t wanna repeat the Rosie incident,” The child shuddered at the memory.
Lola went to work putting her brother’s arms and legs into the suit. “I guess we should count ourselves lucky.” Lincoln thought to himself. “We’d probably be shoe gunk by now if we were still in the hall.”
The pageant star gasped at her handy work as she examined her brother. “Why Linky, you look so handsome!” Lola giggled as she grabbed Eunice with her free hand and pressed the stuffed unicorn’s mouth to Lincoln’s body. The child laughed more before speaking again. “Eunice, Eunice,” Lola scolded as she returned Eunice to her seat at the table. “Linky, you’re such a hunk. You’d better be careful around my other dolls,” Lola smiled before bringing her shrunken brother to her ear. “What’s that, Linky? I’ll always be your number one girl? Oh, Linky, how sweet.”
“Someone get me a barf bag!” Lynn thought to herself.
Lola placed Lincoln next to Eunice before putting an empty teacup before him. “Now you just relax, Linky,” The child smiled. “And Eunice, you try to control yourself.” Lola giggled again, but her face became stern as her gaze fell on Lynn. “Now, Lynn,” The child spoke. “I’m glad you’ve decided to join us today, but when it comes to manners, you’re even more hopeless than Lana, so you need to learn some proper behavior, and I think you should just watch today.” Lynn sighed in relief, but it was short-lived. “But don’t worry,” Lola grabbed her shrunken sister with an evil smirk. “I know how you can still participate in the tea party.” Lola came back a minute later and presented Lynn wearing a maid outfit. “Ms. Lynn will be serving us today,” Lola giggled.
Lincoln had to contain his laughter as his younger sister put one of his older sister’s arms on the teapot before lifting it. “Mr. Sprinkles,” Lola spoke through Lynn. “You’re looking nice today.”
“Very nice, Lynn,” Lola praised. The child put Lynn’s hand on the teddy bear’s cup. “No, no, Lynn,” Lola scolded. “Sorry, Mr. Sprinkles, my sister has a nasty habit of taking things that don’t belong to her.” After Eunice’s cup was filled, Lola hovered Lynn over Lincoln’s teacup.
“If I hear you laugh!” Lynn whispered.
“Don’t worry,” Lincoln responded. Lola brought Lynn over her cup, and the white-haired boy mimed laughing while Lola’s attention was drawn.
“Wonderful,” Lola commented before putting down the teapot and depositing Lynn next to Lincoln. “You sit with Linky. Maybe some of his good manners will rub off on you.” The little blonde took her seat and picked up her cup. “Now, I was in class the other day.”
Lincoln started to listen to Lola’s gossip before he heard a slight rumbling sound. “What’s going on?” Lincoln asked. “You just ate, right?”
Lynn blushed, “No, I mean, yeah, I ate, but it’s the other thing.”
“You have to go to the bathroom?” Lincoln asked.
“Yeah,” Lynn squirmed. “Bad.”
“Really?”
“Yesterday was a big game,” Lynn defended. “And If I go number two.”
“We won’t be number one,” Lincoln recited. “And you thought two blueberry muffins were a good idea after that?”
“Well, obviously, I didn’t think this would happen!”
