This choice: Rias skips, Ren has a senpai tutor/helper • Go Back...Chapter #5Rias skips, Ren has a senpai tutor/helper by: Lonly Wanderer   "Seeing as it's only the first day, so the upper years will be revising past work, Rias you will be coming along with Ren for the day, assisting him as the day goes on" Helena explains "Hopefully Black Diamond or Kaos will have a plan on what to do with this new incident, but this will do for now and I will leave a note for your professors so you won't get in trouble"
Rias nods and shrinks back to human size, hugging Ren "So master, where are we going now?"
Ren looks to Morgan, who had giddily told them they have almost matching schedules bar a couple classes "Cryptozoology out in the grounds" he answers, Rias nodding knowing where that was from her first 3 years as well as her friends still taking the class.
"Then lets head down guys" she cheers, cuddling Ren to her plush chest once more, making him blush before moving out of the room and leading the way down the stairs, through the front door and to the grounds, where a white haired woman was sitting waiting for them. She was small for a teacher, only about 9ft in height, with a shoulder less white outfit that showcased her massive chest without showing any skin at all, a white cape with a black inner lining, black sandals and a 0 tattooed on her left shoulder. She also had a wadjet over her left eye, though whether it was a replacement or something like a scope or monocle nobody was going to ask
"Hello class, I am Sakura Necrophades, your teacher for cryptozoology" she greets as she stands, smiling down at the kids "Now I'm sure most of you know the multiverse is a diverse and messy place, meaning rules in one plane of existence is the opposite in another, so before discussing beasts who's intelligent counterparts are your fellow students we begin with something else. A feral Menos" she smirks as she clicks her fingers activating the runic circle a few feet behind her. In the centre of the ring was a beast which resembled a beefy gorilla, with a bone like mask that looked like a hamster and a melon sized hole through the centre of it's chest, though it seemed to not be causing it any actual issues.
"What's that?" A white haired boy behind them asks, Rias raising her hand to answer
Sakura raises her right eyebrow "Ms Gremory, why are you here?"
"I bonded to a 1st year, have to stick with him to keep us both safe and stable" Rias explains "Can I answer the question Ms Necrophades?"
"Sure my dear" Sakura nods and grins, allowing the devil to explain
"A menos is the lowest level of hollow, spirits who have lost themselves in despair, losing their hearts and forming masks of bone to protect themselves. A Feral menos is the earliest stage of development, acting purely on instinct and having almost no intellect. Eventually most can regain enough to be something of human intelligence, and in turn evolve into Gillian, Adjuchas and later Vasto Lorde. There are also Arancarr..." Rias explains, before being interrupted
"Who have broken their masks and removed them in order to truly become human again, as well as free them from their endless hunger. They still retain fragments of their mask, as well as a blade to contain their powers and their hollow hole.... much like this one" she smile turned feral when she pulls up her shirt, some of the students hoping she was going to flash them only to see a fist sized hole in her stomach.
"So you're?" Morgan starts, to which Sakura nods
"Yes, and I was like this thing over 5,000 years ago, pretty young compared to the headmistress, though ancient compared to the majority of the staff here" she chuckles then steps close to the hollow "Feral hollows should be eliminated swiftly, so their souls can pass on, what I am about to do, should not be attempted by any of you children, under any circumstances" she explains, before placing her hand on the beasts' mask appearing to pet it, before shoving her extended hand through it's mask/skull, the hollow evaporating and it's magical prescience fading "This is all for today kids, we'll do more later in the week on the higher classes, but for now I'll see you later" the kids nod, most silent in shock, but manage to get their legs moving enough to head to their next location
Which is?
1) Dark Magic for Ren, Rias happy about that as it's one of her best subjects
2) Healing magic, Ren and Morgan were looking forward to this class
3) Lunch. Does Rias bring Ren to her friends, or stay with him and Morgan though?  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
