Something really bad happens

"Well, you see-" is all Chihiro could say before a loud bang came from one of his many computer towers, replacing the stereotypical number spam on the accompanying monitor with pitch blackness.
"Oh no oh no oh noohnoohnoohnoohno"
Chihiro tried as hard as he could but things were suddenly going wrong left and right, fires and crashes, and free-hanging wires. And then nothing. Makoto woke up in Chihiro's bed who knows how long afterward.
"Ugh Chihiro why did I ag- w- what's wrong with my voice?!" Makoto sounded like a girl, fitting because he kinda was one now. Chihiro had his back to Makoto, too upset to look at him.
"I'm sorry, Makoto, I couldn't save you."
"Uh, save me from what?"
"Just look in the mirror."
A conveniently placed mirror revealed the reality of the situation to Makoto. He didn't see himself in the mirror, he saw a... a sleepy gamer gf. But he also looked familiar, like...
"Di-did I die?"
"I don't even know..."
"And now I'm in your girlfriend?! Forever?!"
"I don't know...!"
