Subaru ran towards the alley hoping maybe Felt who somehow stole his body would be nearby it after all he somehow teleported from the loot house to the middle of the street maybe Felt also teleported from the loot house to where he was? It was a stretch, after all, he didn't really know how he teleported that and he should probably go run towards the loot house in case Stella(Subaru doesn't know that Emilia is her name yet) was still there bleeding out feeling conflicted he stopped in the ally to think that's when he heard a familiar voice “You stop right there!” behind him feeling relieved that she was unhurt and also was teleported back at the market he turned around only to be met with ice crystals pointed towards his head
“Thief Hand over what you stole I won’t hurt you if you do” stone-cold she talked to him as if he was scum or even worse than scum “ I know this may be hard to believe but it’s me Subaru I somehow was teleported from the loot house to here and now I am in GRHK”
Before he could finish his sentence about saying he was body swapped with Felt everything stopped and a cold feeling rushed over him and before he knew it a shadowy hand ran all over his body before stopping at where his heart was and-*SQUISH* it felt as if the hand just squished his heart but he was still alive fear and pain overwhelmed him causing him to fall over as time started again for Emilia it was a weird site first this girl with overwhelming speed stole her candidate insignia and successfully dodged her Fire( fire and ice magic are the same things in re zero it's too long to explain here so look it up I guess) magic attacks and then while following her she just stopped in the middle of this alley and started talking crazy to her then in the middle of it she just fell over? Emilia was debating in her head if she should see if she alright or to continue holding ice crystal towards her after all this could be a trick to lower defense so she can run away her sympathy won over her anger after all if she helped then the girl would be in debt to her which means she would hand over her insignia back to her she tried to to make excuses to why she should help her “hey you alright?”
“Yea I am fine but how about you weren't you hurt at the loot house? Also so was I? Also how were we teleported here?”
He turned to look at Stella only to find a confused face. “What are you talking about? I never been to this loot house or ever meet you before you stole my insignia ”
“Yea that makes sense that never saw me but that weird that you never went to the loot house”
That when Subaru had a light bulb moment, ‘maybe it's like those movies where when you die you go back to a checkpoint but if that's the case then why am I in felts body?’
‘Wait if that’s the case does that mean Felt is in his body or maybe it's himself like he replaced the NPC kinda scenario if it's the Felt theory I need to rush over to the loot house to see if he was there’
“Hey you still need to give me my insignia hand it over”
“Huh Sure but can you help me with something I am looking for someone. He is a friend ya a friend and I can’t find him anywhere can you help me look for him?”
