An sci-fi epic setting with anthros, monsters, and all kinds of genres in one place.
|The year is 5000 AD. Humans have mastered the art of space travel, and colonized countless other galaxies and planets. This expanse of space has been dubbed The Infinite Empire, as a testament to the indomitable and enduring will of humanity, and it's ever expanding drive of progress. Of course, such a campaign does not come without a cost. Numerous other species of life have also been discovered on conquered planets, and many of them have been either enslaved or wiped out by the human invaders, leading many species to resent humans as a whole. |
While no human may own another human by law, any member of any other species is fair game. That's not to say all citizens of the Empire support slavery, as there are those who speak out against it. But for the last several centuries, they have gone largely ignored.
With such advances in technology, the average life expectancy of a human has increased to 300 years, and many afflictions once thought to be death sentences are now easily cured. The empire in ruled by the Grand Emperor, while each planet within the empire is governed by a Council, who report directly to the Emperor. The seat of the empire is the Grand Imperium, a massive space station at the center of the the empire. It is from here the emperor rules, holds court and lives. The current emperor is Tiberius IV, having succeeded the throne from his father only a decade ago.
Among the species discovered during the empire's conquest are Anthroids, humanoid animals of various species, and creatures humans thought to be mythological, such as werewolves, dragons, gargoyles, etc. Zombies and vampires also exist, but they are seen as a disease rather than a species, and are thus considered outcasts.
Now, enough with the exposition. You are about to become a resident of the Empire, be it as a citizen, and slave, a criminal, outcasts, or something else all together. You decide.
