Strong in the Force and in eating!

This choice: She wakes up starving at Peragus  •  Go Back...
Chapter #6

Hunger

"Awaken."

That word, from a voice she did not recognize, stirred the lost Jedi out of the deep slumber she had been forced into. Her body twitched as control over muscles slowly returned, on instinct at first, but then with a goal in mind as she regained an awareness of her surroundings. Slowly and sluggishly, she pulled herself out of the kolto tank, stumbling forward as far as she could, before her weak body gave in and she collapsed onto the cold, metal floor.

It was hard to move, hard to even think about moving, she most likely would've returned to the world of dreams had the sounds of various electronic panels not began filling the room, encouraging her to come to life as they did.

"... So hungry..."

Gathering what strength she could, Meetra Surik brought herself up as her stomach growled, a chill coming over her body that was drenched in kolto. Dressed in only her brown undergarments, she needed warmth as much as she needed food. A towel from a nearby rack was able to provide that, enough that she could properly move around, but that still left the matter of food.

The place she was in was empty, completely devoid of life. Even the sounds to be found there were only from the various machinery, but it was merely some beeping from the consoles and bubbling in the kolto tanks, far too quiet to breath life into this still place. Were her mind not clouded by fatigue and hunger, the Jedi would've found this deeply unsettling, but she would need food, and lots of it, before she would be able to think clearly enough to feel that.

She slowly stumbled out of the room, which she saw was part of a larger medbay. There was three doors, one at the end of the short hallway, one on the left, and one on the right. This place didn't look like a cafeteria, so leaving felt like the logical way to obtain food. But as she got closer to it, she saw that the mechanism was badly damaged, it'd be a long and difficult repair job, even with her being the gearhead she was, not that she looked like one. With her slim but well-toned body that her undergarments showed off perfectly, to her slim, beautiful face, with blue eyes and short, blonde hair with a bun, no one's first impression from looking at her would be that she was probably someone who tinkered with machines and droids for a hobby.

But even best of mechanics need a clear head and the proper tools, nether of which she had at the moment, and the latter she was unlikely to get here. It would be better to just break the lock but she'd need either the right tool or a weapon to do that.

She tried the door on what was now her left, but that was looked, one of the few normal parts of this picture as it was the morgue, not a good place to go to before eating anyways. With her stomach again growling to remind her of her primary objective, Meetra lumbered towards the door to the medical office, which was thankfully unlocked and functional. There wasn't much in there, two more doors, a few containers, a desk (which had a microwave on it, presumably whoever it belonged to brought it for when they're wanted to eat something cooked), and a terminal. She searched the two containers but was disappointed each time to see that they only contained medpacs, instead of something like a warm, greasy, extra large nerfburger. The doors wouldn't open either, which left her with only the terminal.

There was the typical features of a terminal for a facility like this, security cameras, and logs made by the chief medical officer, and controls for the locks on the doors. Nothing special, but Meetra's blue eyes nearly bulged out of her head when she saw one thing she could from this terminal.

"Open pantry."

*GRRROOOWWL*

With her stomach loudly roaring in hunger and enthusiasm at those magical words, the former Jedi selected that option in the blink of an eye, she heard the door open behind her in response.

And in that now open pantry she did indeed find the extra large nerfburgers she was looking for, covered in wrappings that held the symbol of a fast food chain, but that wasn't all this temping, treasure trove of a pantry held. It also held chips, popcorn, fries, crispics, trimpian, ice cream, cookies, and pizza, among others. All coming together to form a wonderful aroma that made Meetra's mouth water even more then the sight of the open pantry did. There was even plenty of drinks there to wash all this down.

And down the hatch and into her stomach it did go, Meetra grabbed all the food she could and shoveled it into her greedy mouth, like coal being shoveled into a furnace. The taste was absolutely heavenly, not because they were special, high class versions of the regular stuff made with five star ingredients or something (and they weren't), but because her mouth was finally getting to taste something (other then kolto) for the first time in days, it compelled to wolf down even more, to wolf it all down even faster, the exile not even caring about the crumbs, sauce, and other foodstuffs that got on her hands, mouth, cheeks or even her chest. what she did care about was giving her belly what it wanted. One hand wouldn't be enough for this, she would need two, with a different type of food in each.

Stuff like the chips and popcorn were set and ready to be eaten, but you can't eat a burger or pizza without cooking it, and that was where the conveniently placed microwave did it's job. While she had something cooking in there, she'd gorge on something like the ice cream or chips. This set up meant that no matter what, she was always eating something, and lots of it.

Of course, this all had an effect on her waistline, a big effect. As more food filled her stomach up, it began to bloat into an orb of soft gluttony. At first it was just minor softening of her toned stomach, then a small potbelly, then a big belly, and finally, a huge, giant gut nearly the size and weight of a T3 unit.

*RIIIIIIIP*

"BUUUUUUURRRRP! Ahh..."

With her big gut tearing right through her undergarments, wobbling out free with a jiggle, Meetra unleashed a long, loud belch of immense satisfaction that jiggled her bloated tummy even more. Letting out a sigh of pleasure, the exiled Jedi just laid there for a while, belching here and there as she gave her stuffed belly a good rub, the orb gurgling loudly in digestion as a way of showing how much it enjoyed it's grand feast.

She would've liked to lay there even longer, she would've liked to sleep this meal off with a nice nap, but a full stomach meant she could think clearly and realize that she should find out where she even is and what the hell was going on.

In hind -URRP- sight, eating myself into -UUURRRP- immobility isn't really a good idea when I -BUORRRP- don't even know where I am..."

With lots of difficultly and grunting, Meetra slowly heaved herself up, letting out a sign and then a burp. She waddled back to the terminal and looked it over with a clear head. There wasn't much information on it she could find, the most being three logs the chief medical officer made, she spoke of various accidents occurring throughout Peragus (the name of this facility) this was, that they recovered someone wounded from a damaged freighter called the Ebon Hawk, who they placed into a kolto tank for recovery and may be a Jedi (Meetra assumed that refereed to her), the last log ominously ending with her rushing off because of a dangerous fuel detonation in the mining tunnels. That triggered the emergency lockdown and venting countermeasures, however the ventilation system had been malfunctioning in some way that put the medbay at risk, as she frantically yelled that it had to be evacuated.

That told her that her gut was right (and not just about how good it would feel to raid the pantry), this place was dangerous, but it didn't tell her any more then that, like where she should go from here. What did tell her where to go was the option on the terminal to unlock the morgue. Not the best place to go after eating, but with the door to the rest of the facility not working, she didn't really have any other option.

Cradling her swollen belly, Meetra slowly wobbled to the now open morgue, her belly jiggling with each step, the exile burping with each step. She was very grateful it was only a short waddle, but just thinking about that made her dread having to move around this probably very large facility. She really hoped she would have a chance to sit back down and digest all this.

Once at the morgue, she saw two bodies, two more then she would've liked to see, but she was glad it was just two. One of the bodies was an old woman, she couldn't see any sign of what killed her or even any blood, perhaps it was just something related to her age. The other body she couldn't tell the age or state of, as most of it was covered by a sheet. There didn't really seem to be much here, all she could hope for was to find some kind of tool that she could use on the door.

Burping twice, Meetra stepped further into the morgue, only to stop as she noticed the odd sight of a bag left laying on the floor. It wasn't a medical bag or anything, it looked like the type you would buy in a shop. Perhaps one of the miners was in here for whatever the reason and left it here by accident, but what would cause him to leave in such a hurry that he'd forget his bag?

Hoping the contents of the bag would provide the answer to that question (and out of simple curiosity), she picked it up and opened it, shocked to see it contain another tempting helping of nerfburgers. Meetra slowly moved a hand to her large stomach.

"Should I really eat even more..."

It gurgled beneath her palm, she only started at her bounty for a few more seconds before she happily started wolfing it down. She was pigging out with such fervor that she didn't even notice the seemingly dead body of the old woman slowly arise.

"Find what you're looking for among the dead?"

Meetra was frozen mid-chew in embarrassment, her crumb covered face turning scarlet the instant she realized someone was seeing her like this, with her giant, swollen gut hanging out in plain view, with nothing to hide or downplay it. The exile could only give one response, and it wasn't very elegant or graceful.

"BUUUUUUUAAAAARRRRRRP!"

It was impressive though, it managed to shake the entire room and jiggle her belly like mad.
