Some other thing that comes up that shrinks you

You grunt as you carry the boxes, which were rather heavy actually. "Guess that's to be expected...they're some kind of machinery." You said, arms straining a bit. You weren't physically weak by any measure, but this was still difficult. You make it outside and sigh, putting the boxes down, taking a quick break. Your shack isn't too far away.

"Geez, what is in this stuff?" You said, opening a box up. Sure enough, random bits of machinery and a few laptops inside. Pretty standard...but those weren't what was making this box heavy. What was was a briefcase sized container. "And what are you?" You said with interest.
You knew you probably shouldn't be messing with this stuff, but hey, curiosity was the sharpest knife in the crayon box or something like that. You pick up the container and opened it...and inside was a pinkish red stone, shaped similar to some diamond.
"Huh...I've seen these before." You mutter. "Yeah, over in Berthas class...you can find these in the Sinnoh underground." You said smiling. She had explained these minerals were mega rare, so rare that the legend goes that they could summon legendary pokemon.

You touch the gem, taken by its beauty. "Huh, that's neat." You said. But unbeknownst to you, the gems powers activated at your touch.

Slowly, the gems powere interacted with your DNA. It started to shift genetic code, applying changes to your being that should have been impossible by regular means. These changes would change you irreversibly. Permanently. You were going to shrink...and that would happen...
