There wasn't too much time to make a decision. The bus had already left and while you were not the last stop it had before school you were certainly on the later end of its route. Of the two options you decided to not risk your life with Jess's untested driving skills at the moment so your only other option was Josh's bike. He lived nearby and you knew the code to their shed where he kept the bike, so all in all it seemed like a fine option. You just hope Josh won't mind you borrowing it for the day considering the circumstances. After another moment's hesitation you decide he would either forgive you or he would learn to get over it. So with that in mind you run to his shed posthaste.
It doesn't take you long to reach the shed, open it, and take out the bike. You are about to leave when you notice Alicia standing on the front porch looking at you confused. You thought about explaining yourself but honestly you neither have the time nor care to explain it. Besides Josh is your closest friend it wasn't that weird was it? Either way without another moment's hesitation you step on the pedals and push yourself to get to school on time.
