"Hello, and welcome to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?! I'm your host. My name's not that important, but our guests are." The host said, and the audience cheered.
"Our first contestant is a purple monster who lives on a fictional street in New York City. He used to be addicted to watching television, but in more recent times, he enjoys bouncing on pogo sticks and triangles. In fact, he is a member of the Triangle Lover's Club. He also has a bit of a tendency to worry and fret. Please welcome our first guest, Telly Monster from Sesame Street!" the host announced, and the audience cheered as Telly walked in.
"Hi, everybody! It's great to be here tonight! Thank you for having me on your show, Mr. Host!" Telly told the host.
"You're welcome, Telly. Are you ready to play Millionaire?" the host asked Telly.
"You bet! I've been training for this day all my life! Back when I watched a lot of television, I watched a lot of game shows. My favorite is Pyramid." Telly told the host.
"I can understand why. Anyway, here are the rules, you have ten questions, and if you answer them all correctly, you'll win a million dollars. You'll lose if you answer one incorrectly, but you're welcome to walk away with whatever money you have if the question's too tough. You have three lifelines; you can phone a friend to see if they know the answer, you can use 50/50 to eliminate two of the wrong answers, and you can ask the audience to see if they know the answer. Do you understand?" the host asked Telly.
"I guess so. Wait, I lose if I get one wrong? Why didn't somebody tell me about that before?" Telly said nervously.
"Don't worry about that. Just focus on the game. Anyway, here is your first question for $100.00." the host began.
