Chapter #7

Swept into the rabbit reploid's ship.

(young robotic male pred)
The enormous submarine continues its approach of your vessel, the size difference between the two ships becoming more and more obvious as it draws closer and closer to your own. And with the submarine's approach comes the approach of its mechanical 'maw.' One look at the opening on the front of the ship fills you with an instinctual fear. You're about to get swept up practically like a fish in a fisher's net. What will happen to you once you're swept into the little holding area on the front of the sub?

As you consider the scenario, you turn your attention to the spikes jutting out from the front of the ship. This is a ship built for battle...but the pilot isn't aiming to ram into your ship at full speed or spear you into one of those spikes. It's going for a nonlethal capture. A nonlethal capture could mean many things. There's no guarantee that you won't get killed or subjected to a fate worse than death once you've been caught...but compared to the endless ranks of aquatic predators, their gaping maws, and their powerful combat abilities that would no doubt help coax your form into said gaping maws, it could be worse. . Plus, once on board the sub you'll doubtlessly be able to evacuate your ship without subjecting yourself to an underwater feeding frenzy.

You decide to keep your ship still for now. As the capture compartment begins to fill your field of vision, you take one last glance at the cute bunny decal on the front of the ship and hope that the pilot is as soft as the insignia would suggest. You're only afforded a brief glimpse of the decal before it disappears from view. Your ship is swept into the confines of the compartment, which seals with a lout metal CLANK. Dark. You flick your ship's lights on, and find the compartment to essentially be an empty metal cube. You hear a roaring noise and realize that the water in the chamber is quickly draining out. Soon it will be dry enough to open, and you'll find yourself facing whoever it is that managed to catch you.

Within a minute, the chamber is drained of its water. You hear another clank. Light floods in from an opening ahead. A pair of greyish-white levers descend for your ship and snag it up in their clutches. Looking through the monitors on board the ship, you are met with a completely unexpected site. Your ship appears to be in the clutches not of a human, but of a Pokemon. Actually....this doesn't appear to be a normal Pokemon by any stretch of the imagination!

Towering over you is a clearly mechanical rabbit, one with a build not too dissimilar to that of a typical rodent Pokemon, though it is a touch larger, closer to the height of a small child than a Pichu. with blue and cyan metal plating all over its body, save for its ears , handpaws, and toes, which are whitish grey. The 'levers' holding onto your ship are actually the creature's under-sized handpaws! In stark contrast to the bunny's little handpaws , the bunny has an impressive pair of footpaws with sizable digits. Its 'hips' are wide and you can only imagine its legs pack quite a wallop. Its ears are distinct as well. Tri-pronged with distinctive vents at the base , these ears look a touch incomplete, as if they're designed to generate some sort of energy weapon that could protrude from them. Completing the look are a pair of yellow gem-like eyes that look an odd mix of 'cute' and 'frightening.'

Although you don't know it, you have found yourself in the sights of a visitor from offworld. A Mutos Reploid known as Childre Inarabitta! The rabbit is currently sitting down on an adjustable cockpit seat, his footpaws pressed against a pair of pedals. Reinforced glass windows to the sides of the ship afford a view of the surrounding ocean water and the light from the surface world above.

All in all, it really does seem like you're dealing with a mechanical equivalent of something like a Pikachu. Its design is an interesting mix of 'cute' and 'menacing,' but at your tiny size there's not a lot of difference between the two! Putting two and two together, you conclude that this must be the pilot of the sub, which does seem scaled to fit a a pilot of this height rather than a fully grown adult. That must mean this robotic 'creature' is smart enough to use tools....you might just have a shot at communicating with it.

Sure enough, the robotic rabbit speaks up, instantly ruling out the possibility that you're dealing with a mere Steel Type. "Huh...is this a reploid like me? No...probably just some dumb mechaniloid...maybe even a toy..." He inquires, tightening his handpaws' hold around your ship. Unsurprisingly, the mechanical rabbit's voice is that of a young child. Likely a boy, if gender means anything to something like this. "Hey. If you can understand me, speak up! Speak up or maybe I'll just have to play with you until you talk" He says, gazing into your little Magikarp vessel's eyes

The word "Play " doesn't bode well at all for a toy-sized person like you! Your ship might protect you from the elements and from casual brushes with something like Poliwag, but dedicated playtime from this bunny would like be fatal, even with the protection of the ship. Thankfully you have the option of trying to leave the ship...but that would put you at an even greater risk of getting crushed....
