This choice: Naofumi's party has troubles with his new looks • Go Back...Chapter #14The start of a new journey by: Supmcsup   "Filo, that's not master" Raphtalia said walking over to anxious bird
"Huh!? What do you mean? He looked exactly like him though" Filo said with a pout and a turning of her head
"Um...how to explain it...ah! Remember that stone that teleported your wagon to us?"
Filo gave a short nod
"Well, Malty used it to take over master's body" as soon as Filo heard that she quickly turned around and without a second thought she rushed at Naofumi and did her signature kick in Naofumi's now flat stomach sending him flying as the air left his lungs
"Give master's body back!" Filo yelled out as she looked down at the red-haired woman who was desperately trying to get any oxygen possible into her lungs
"Filo no! That's not Malty!" Raphtalia yelled as she ran towards the angered bird
"Huh?" Filo turned her head sideway as she looked at Raphtalia
"That's master Naofumi!" Raphtalia yelled out as she went over to the downed girl, as she looked at her a smirk and a little gigle came out before she slapped her face and shook it, but she wouldn't get any closer even with her hand outstretched something in her mind seemed to yell, that this was still part of Malty's plan, maybe she would be forced back to Idol or maybe some even worse
"What do you mean that's master? You're making Filo's head hurt"
"Malty and Master switched bodies, and now he's in her body" Raphtalia explained,
Filo's eyes widden before a giant dust cloud appeared and she now stood in her human form, where she rushed off to Naofumi's side and began to hug him
"Filo's sorry! Filo didn't know!" She started to cry on Naofumi
Naofumi still trying to recover from the kick began patting Filo's head
"I...It's....fi...ne" Naofumi coughed up
Fill stopped crying but still seemed to cling onto Naofumi, after a second or two Naofumi finally got back on his own two feet though he was unsteady with one heels broken off
"Alright where to go now?" Naofumi muttered
"First we need to head back to mother to get rid of their slave crest, we were thankful that big- Malty forgot about using them, but we can't count on that ever single time," Melty said as she walked over to the group, though as she talked she kept looking back at Filo
Naofumi gave a short nod
"You're right, I also want to get out of these ridiculous heels how was she ever planing to fight with these, of course that's if she was "He said as he started to slowly walk making sure have a nearby as he did so his broken heel doesn't cause him to slip, as he walked he noted how far away Raphtalia was away from him, he felt a deep and powerful pang ring throughout his new soft and supple body
"Raphtalia...you do trust me don't you?" He asked odly enough when he turned to look at her, he could feel heat racing to his cheeks
"..."
"Raphtalia?" He repeated, the pain growing stronger as she looked off in the distance
"Huh? Sorry, I was thinking about something," Raphtalia said her eyes falling to the ground
"Never mind Raphtalia it's fine" He said as he gave her a forced smile
Raphtalia didn't seem to reply just kept stareing off
It didn't take long for them to get back to the queen, and explain the situation with a quick nod she called someone over,
Soon a man wearing dark clothing came over
Naofumi stood stiff his eyes wide as he looked upon the scene his mind flashing back to that fateful day, though now he felt a even deeper pang of hate and pain then before,
'It's fine its fine this is for the good of all'
It didn't take long for the slave crest to be removed
"This is a convenient transtion into our next topic" The queen began snaping Naofumi out of his memories
"And that is?" Naofumi asked with a raised thin red eyebrow
"Well, I think stripping Malty's titles and making her fight the waves might be...to nice of a punishment for the people- and more importantly the government's of the world, I hate this, but I can't imagine the backlash I would receive from people learning of the truth, so I must add another bit of punishment to make the story a bit more...realistic, my deepest apologies Mal- Shield Hero, please try not to resist to much" and with that a guard came up behind Naofumi and wrapped their arm under Naofumi's and held him there while another few gaurds came around and grabed their weapons at the hilt
"What the hell are you doing!? I knew I shouldn't have trusted you damn royals!" Naofumi seethed as she trashed about, but with his much weaker body ▼not just physically as Naofumi noted that he was only level 10 a whole 30 levels lower then he was before what was she even doing these past few months!? he didn't stand a chance, Raphtalia quickly drew her weapon and turned towards the gaurds and Filo poofed up into her bird form ready dash at the evil guys holding her daddy-turned mommy captive
"Calm down, I don't plan on hurting him, this my only option unless you want to be married off to some random duke, as even without her titles she still holds royal blood, and a strong claim to the throne if I pass, I know many of poltical rivals would love to have," the queen spoke
"What the hell are you-" Naofumi stopped as he saw a familiar man, the one which just got rid of Raphtalia's and Filo's crest walk towards him now with a familiar ink bottle
"This will help get Silvelt off me especially, but it also humiliates the Melromarc dynasty, Raphtalia could you please grant us a drop of your blood," The Queen asked softly as she turned her head towards the tanuki demi-human
Raphtalia had her eyes wide as she realized the plan, part of her ecstatic that she turned the bitch who had tormented her and her beloved, but the other part of her the one that believes that Naofumi did switch bodies is deeply worried not sure what to do,
"This will only until Malty stops her tantrum and swaps back with you, and because it's Raphtalia you won't have to worry anything bad happening to you, there is no negative to this," The queen explained,
"I...guess you're right...Naofumi do you agree with this?" Raphtalia asked
Naofumi in his mind was split as he felt he was getting punished for an action he didn't commit but on the other he fully trusted Raphtalia with all of his heart so he gave a quick nod
With that Raphtalia took off her glove and cut herself letting blood dribble onto the ink, with that the man walked over and started to paint on Naofumi's sensitive chest making him shiver and move as it moved along until it finished, and with that large purple lighting came out out of it zapping Naofumi in the process making him yell out in pain, it was a few seconds later when it was finished
"Good, now you can leave, and just so you know a shadow will always be following you so don't think about talking about this your friends!" The queen yelled as the gaurds shuffled out
"Once more my deepest apologies Shield Hero, but it is what much be done, it might also be safe to put in an extra layer of security, Naofumi if you had Malty as a slave would you call her by name or something else?"
"What do you mean?" Naofumi asked out in a huff as he akwardly stood up still leaning against a wall
"The slave crest can change people name, now would you think it strange if your life was ruined by someone and you had the opportunity to change their name, and yet you didn't?"
Naofumi's eyes widden as he heard what she said,
"I would rather not, I think it's perfectly fine its already bad enough that I will have to be called Malty in public, now come one Raphtalia let's try to find where this Bitch's room is so I can change out of her damn heels" He muttered annoyed
"I am sorry Malty but this isn't your call to make but your owner, with the exuse that Naofumi spilt up to find new party members to help level himself up and find new members, and left Raphtalia in charge of Malty to level her up and teach her humility, would you find it strange that he would keep her name?" The queen asked staring directly at Raphtalia
