One would think it a little silly to investigate ghosts when ghost types are as normal as they come; but how would the Anthrolution effect the ghostly Pokemon, and how would they react to it? Not to mention, ghost types are still tricky little buggers as is, sussing one out would still require some investigation, just in case it isn't your average Ghastly.
Howard Ernie is A young man turned 21 who has a contrasting predicament. Ever since he was real young, he had always been fascinated, but yet terrified of all Ghost-type pokemon, which was always a pain to have the contrasting opinions of the spooky pokemon. Speaking of pokemon, Howard, for all his attempts through out his teenage years, could not get a hold of a pokemon, even the most easy and friendly kinds wont put up with him, and he doesn't understand why, even to this day. Even when he manages to ask a fully Anthro pokemon, all they could say was they there just something about him that just made them uncomfortable, even though they KNOW he isn't a threat... So he is still with out a pokemon partner.
Thankfully, he did have a few human friends growing up, one of which had had just as much of an interest in the paranormal as Howard does, and even went and made an investigation team with 4 other people, The small team of ghost hunters had a total 5 members; 3 girls, Mercy, Penelope, and Kimmy and 2 guys, Derick and Louie, all with their own pokemon of variants talents. Louie had offered Howard to join in. He had not taken the invitation just yet, saying he would think on it, as his fear of ghost types still gets to the young man, But he was more than willing other wise.. he just needed the push to convince himself to do so.
Near the town they lived was a well known abandon mansion said to be filled to the brim with all sorts of ghost types, even said to have all of them, even access to some legendary ones, due to unknown reasons. Only very harden pokemon trainers have ever attempted at going into the mansion, but some how it had proven to be dangerous, even more so when the anthrolution started happening. So many people avoid the mansion as best as they could. But recently there had been rumors of something happening in the mansion, but nobody has really been keen on looking into it... that is except for Howard, who was tired of his fear and wants to do what he can to get over it somehow.
For Howard, If he decided to go in by himself, this would be the perfect time to try and face his fears head on, and possibly get his own pokemon if he were to go to the mansion by himself, and than join in his friends investigation team with confidence.
For the investigation team, if he joins them instead and , this would be their first real investigation mission, and would help get their name out on the map, and be able to do more research into other haunted sightings.
Standing at the large closed gates to the mansion, with the only way in was through an opening in the stone walls to the front yard of the 4 story building, Howard clenched his fists and gave a hollow gulp and tried to brace himself for the challenge he had set himself up for, unaware of what he was about to get himself into as quiet a few eyes have started watching him from the haunted grounds.
