The cat, starving and looking for ANYTHING to fill his belly, came across a green bottle. He didn’t know what it was, but the label looked promising.
On one side was a small, wilting flower, but then it turns into a thick and towering plant, bigger in every way. He brainstormed, trying to think if it might help.
He pictured himself, thin and half starving in the “before” picture. Then, in the “after” picture, he imagined himself with a huge, full belly, pleased and full.
As that image popped in his head, he grabbed the bottle and upended it quickly, downing a few gulps before burping and setting the bottle back down. He smiled, smacking his lips, and then felt a weird rumbling.
His belly grew out, looking large and full. His butt grew wider and he thickened out. And then his head rose higher and higher. He took a few steps back as he grew, off-balance, only to fall and crush the kitchen table as he continued to grow. He swelled up so big that there he sat on the ground and the little hat on his head was brushing the ceiling.
He took in his surroundings, confused about what had just happened, until he looked down at his massive new self and his eyes got wide.
But then his smile disappeared as his much, MUCH larger belly rumbled. “But hey…I’m still hungry.”
Now it would take even more food to fill him up. Then again, that big dog outside was probably a good sized meal now, and revenge would taste sweet as well.
He looked back to the bottle angrily and nearly threw it out, but then he considered. Maybe he could USE that and grow his own food. There might still be something inside the house.
