"I will try to get you to date me by bribing you with baked goods..." Weiss droned

"I will try to buy your love..." Weiss droned
"Stop making it depressing." Ruby told Weiss "You'll do more than just buy me things."
"That's what you do for people you love..." Weiss said "You buy them a lot of stuff and don't talk to them so that they don't have to bother saying thank you... It's nice..."
"Where did you get that idea?"
"That's how father does it..." A tear fell down Weiss' otherwise blank face "He at least loves me a little..."
