Summary: Life Debts are something that is not taught at Hogwarts, but most people know the key details;
- A Life Debt will form if circumstances occur in which an individual saves the life of another provided that they did not contribute to the danger from which they are saving them
- This debt can be paid through any payment, from a simple cash transaction all the way up to the debtor being made the slave of the debtee
- Life Debts supersede any other legal or magical contract.
However there are things that are not as well known;
- The payment of slavery can be triggered by either party- as the highest possible payment the debtee does not need to approve, as on their side they cannot get a better deal.
- Due to the sheer danger of it, Harry Potter defeating the Basilisk during his second year created a life debt between himself an everyone present at Hogwarts at the time.
This became relevant when Luna Lovegood became bound by a marriage contract against her will. Upon seeking ways to break this contract, the 19-year-old discovers the debt between herself and Harry Potter and, with no better solution, approaches him as she begins her 5th year, triggering the payment and binding herself to Harry as his slave, to his shock and confusion.
Naturally this news soon makes the rounds of Hogwarts, and once it does, how many girls will take this option to escape their own unwanted contracts, and how many others will trigger the contract for reasons all their own?
Title: Last Man Standing

AU: Hogwarts starts at 14
Summary: The Battle of Hogwarts took a far deeper toll than canon; seeking to build harems of their own, many Death Eaters used spells to enslave witches during the battle, while most of them worked diligently to kill any male they found, to get rid of the 'competition'.
However when Neville Longbottom died killing Nagini, the last Horcrux, Voldemort panicked, drawing magic from his minions to give him the power to kill Potter, draining each one completely; even the ones who fled, like the Malfoys. To add insult to injury, because he was using the elder wand against it's master, he still failed, dying by Harry's hand, while Harry passed out.
If the enslaved girls were hoping that their masters' deaths would free them, the were disappointed; right of conquest meant that with their deaths, ownership of their property, including the girls, passed to Voldemort, and then to Harry after his death. And Harry had no clue how the Death Eaters enslaved them in the first place, let alone how to free them.
Beyond that, the majority of an entire generation of wizards was dead, so even the girls who weren't enslaved realized that, if they wanted to marry magic, their options were limited to 3;
1. Leave their homes and travel overseas
2. Marry men for whom their ages could be used as a unit of measurement (I.E twice, thrice or even four times their age)
3. Share Harry Potter
While many girls chose option 1, and a few chose option 2, or had it chosen for them, a fairly large group of girls, including Hermione, chose option 3.
And so Harry Potter awoke to find many of his friends dead, suddenly owning a small legion of slaves, and a group equal, if not larger than that saying that he was now their boyfriend. How exactly will the Man Who Won react to this? Read on to find out.
