(Before I continue I would like to specify that even though Cherry is only 4 years old she is a Trans girl, and her mother and father let her dress as who she wants to be since it is harmless however she does dress like a tomboy, the only person who knows she was a boy was Natalie as she had to change her diapers and pullups everyone else thought she was a girl from birth and treated her that way.)
During play time Jeremy was enjoying the outfit as it was closer to his male outfit the only difference was the fact that the jeans had gems on them and the sweatshirt was something similar to what you would usually wear, the only problem was that you still looked like a little girl and as you and Cherry had similar hair you kept getting mistaken for Cherry by the other kids on the playground and you kept having to correct them even though correcting them was telling them that you were actually Emma, something Natalie found hilarious and kept poking fun at him whenever she had the chance by calling him Cherry when she checked his diaper.
However something Natalie didn't think about when she decided to force Jeremy to swap with Cherry was that they would look so similar, and this came to bite her in the ass when Cherry's parents turned up early as they had scheduled this a few weeks ago and Natalie had forgotten, on Natalie's calendar it was written as a reminder that Cherry had to leave early today, the reason only said family stuff.
Natalie hadn't considered that when they asked to pick her up and she just told them where Cherry was they would walk straight out to where the other kids were playing and grab Jeremy by his hand thinking he was Cherry and drag him out of the day-care, Natalie tried to stop them but as they had already signed her out they were quicker than Natalie and rushed "Cherry" out the door and put her into the car seat in the back of the car.
Natalie was shocked and utterly confused on what to do now, there was no way Cherry could pretend to be Jeremy or if she would want to as she didn't like dressing or acting like a boy so she figured the only reason was to tell Emma that there had been a mix-up and try and convince Cherry to be Emma for the next 24 hours until they could both swap back tomorrow morning when they arrive at day-care.
Natalie walked over to where Cherry was playing and explained that "Emma" had been taken home by her parents as they mistook her for the real Cherry, she then explained that she would have to pretend to be "Emma" and go back with her parents today and they can swap back tomorrow morning. Cherry took this well and was ecstatic that she would get to be a real girl and dress and be treated like a real girl by her temporary parents, she then twirled around in her dress jumping with joy.
She then went and found Emma and let her know she didn't need to swap back with Jeremy until tomorrow as she then explained what had happened and that she had to pretend that Cherry is the real Emma until they can swap back, Emma took this well and was happy to continue being her brother.
