The Sharak program was intended to hold multiple worlds to preserve its species, but now it only has one. This ring world is packed with sharak droids and descendents of refugees who fled from the ancient {Error: DataNotFound} menace. The sharak have been operated for {Error: IndexOutOfBounds} solar cycles and the sharak droids are clearly showing their age. Despite this, the sharak still follow their protection protocols to the letter, even as they fall apart.
They would open their borders to new refugees, but unfortunately the have no more space for new arrivals. As such, they keep their borders closed to others. They are, however, willing to give advice, aid, and help the younger species in their survival. However, refusing their advise has a chance of throwing an error that makes them interpret it as a threat, making them attack. And their aid is seemingly given out randomly, regardless of whether the receiver needs it or not.
Even though their mission is seemingly peaceful, they still have a massive space fleet capable of taking on any other in the galaxy, even if it's ancient and in need of maintenance. This story will follow...
