Sharak droids are the most advanced machines in the galaxy, however due to lack of maintenance, one would have a hard time determining that by their looks and behavior. They come in many forms, but nowadays two are more prevalent than others. The first is the multipurpose form is a humanoid body that resembles a human female, even capable of mimicking emotional gestures. The second is the heavy-duty form, which looks like a large robot caterpillar with multiple thick legs that all have a myriad of tools used for repair of infrastructure, other sharaks, and the planet itself.
All sharaks are capable of sapient thought, although very few are truly sapient nowadays due to deteriorating programming, and none of them have ever been able to break from their original purpose of preserving the lives living on the ring world.
