The Gordians are organized under an oligarchic government run by the Glimmering Council. Each of its 5 members is appointed by the sector(usually 1-6 planets) that appoints them. The Glimmering Council decides nearly all laws and diplomatic actions of the Gordian empire and who its members are can greatly determine the path of the Gordian species.
