Freddy was chasing after the spider for so long he began to slow down as he was struggling to keep up, trying to avoid running out of breath. Even Amber had gotten exhausted from screaming so much that her fear was replaced with seething anger. But the spider refused to let up as it continued trekking onward.
Eventually this chase led them towards a ginormous door, which at their size could be simply traversed underneath to enter. Freddy wasn't sure where they were until they made it inside, quickly figuring out from the vibrant colour of the expansive carpet on the floor that it was his sister, Samantha's, bedroom. What he and the captive Amber were even more caught off guard by was hearing a, to them, loud snoring noise echoing in the distance, causing them to look up to the skyscraper sized bed, and seeing a large figure resting off the side of it.
They now realized that Samantha had been in the house the enter time, but had been sleeping, which is why she hadn't answered their messages. Freddy felt a great sense of relief that she was, and still is asleep, and that they found this out before she woke up, because if they weren't prepared she could've caused some big trouble for them around the house.
While still running forward in the carpet he noticed the spider was starting to slow down, as the fibres were resisting its movement, giving Freddy the chance to pick up the pace and push forward. Then, with all the remaining strength he had, he ran up to a large boulder (actually just a large piece of dirt), using it to launch himself upward and right onto the spider's hairy back.
"Freddy!" Amber shouted still being shook around in the spider's grasp. "Now what's your plan?? How are you gonna get me out? And what if it grabs you too?"
Pulling out a knife out of his pocket, Freddy responded, "I'll figure it out." He stabbed right into the back of the spider, using it to keep his grip tightened so as not to fall off while trying to get closer to save her.
This attack however jolted the spider and caused it to scurry across in the floor in a much more erratic movement, resulting in more trouble for the two tinies on it.
The spider was speeding closer and closer to the location of the sleeping giantess when it began to:
