Natalie brought her boot down on the awed crowd beneath her, crushing people into a bloody pulp. She smiled.
"That's better. I knew you people were good for something."
Natalie ground the bodies beneath her, some still living, albeit barely, now having their squished frames twisted and torn apart by the egotistical Goddess above.
Stomp. Stomp. Stomp.
Natalie walked through the crowd, snuffing out life as she went. But she didn't care. They deserved to be crushed. If they were too stupid to move from their advancing Master, then it was only right she put them out of their misery.
She truly was a merciful individual, she told herself, sullying her priceless footwear with their remains to remove a few more fools from this world.
All this excitement had caused her to sweat profusely, and her unfortunate parents bore the price for this, as their new dwelling seemed to flood around them. Their only hope of reprieve was to drink the fluid before it drowned them. Natalie knew this, and relished each time she felt their pathetic tongues stroke her divine sole. Yes, she thought, they would serve well down there.
Natalie looked down, seeing the same crowds fleeing from her, or again being too awestruck to save themselves. But there, within the crowd, she saw a schoolbus, that must have gotten stuck as the people flooded around it.
